Like celebrities do when they have something to say, Jessica Simpson has taken to Twitter to remember her dog Daisy today.

Jessica tweeted:

“This day last year my life changed because I lost my baby Daisy Mae- the best pup of all time…give your dog some extra love today!!”

Daisy Mae, Simpson’s maltipoo, was taken out of the yard by a coyote this time last year.

So awful.

Jessica isn’t dwelling in the sadness, though– she’s enjoying life with her new boyfriend Eric Johnson.

Jessica is “very happy” with the former NFL star.

She tweeted:

“I met a wonderful man. Damn I’m lucky!”

So sad about Daisy, especially since I really thought they would find her (really).

It’s great that Jessica is coping, though…and who wouldn’t with a hottie like Eric!
