Lady GaGa Announced New Album “Born This Way” At 2010 MTV VMAs (VIDEO)
Eccentric singer Lady GaGa received the biggest award of the night, Video Of The Year, for “Bad Romance” from the hands of another legendary diva Cher at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California on Sunday (September 12)- watch video below.

Cher showed up in a skimpy outfit similar to the one she wore to perform “Turn Back Time” at the 1989 VMAs. The 64 year-old diva told the crowd, “So so far I’m the oldest chick with the biggest hair and the littlest costume.” After 21 years, we’d dare say Cher did look fabulous.

GaGa, who wore a scandalous raw meat outfit, was visibly emotional when she came up stage to thank the gays, her little monsters (the fans!) and everyone that contributed to her incredible success over the past year. The singer surprised the fans by announcing the name of her upcoming album – “Born This Way“.
GaGa said, “I never thought I’d be asking Cher to hold my meat purse. I promised that if I won this tonight, I’d announce the name of my new record. Born This Way.” She belted out a part of a refrain on stage. “God makes no mistakes,” she sang. “I’m on the right track baby. I was born this way.” GaGa went home with eight little Moonmen.
