Lady Gaga has signed her first long-term beauty deal with Coty Inc. to create her own fragrance line.

Stephen Mormoris, the senior vice president of global marketing for the Coty Beauty division, said her deal was just completed last week and the first women’s scent is expected to hit stores in spring of 2012. Mormoris described Gaga as a “phenomenon” and said she is “a fascinating cultural force.”
