Lindsay Lohan‘s brief appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards with Chelsea Handler has sparked interest with Saturday Night Live. According to a source familiar with negotiations, Lindz may host the December 4th episode.

Though currently on a strict post-jail program, if obeyed, the rules will be lifted on November 1st and she’ll be free to roam the country for SNL. I’m not holding my breath. Her program requires that she attend four psychotherapy sessions, two addiction counseling sessions, five 12-step meetings every week and random drug testing twice a week.

Lindz previously hosted SNL in May of 2004 and April of 2006. During the 2006 episode, she poked fun at herself and the tabloid rumors about her “bad behavior” when Keenan Thompson joined her onstage as a drunk guy in a rabbit costume. She went on to tell him that he was a role model to children and shouldn’t be drunk on television.

SNL kicks off it’s 26th season September 25th with Amy Poehler hosting and Katy Perry as the musical guest.
