Want to audition for American Idol but can’t make it to one of the audition locations? You can audition online!
FOX‘s hit reality show will be celebrating it’s 10 anniversary this year, so to celebrate they’re joining forces with MySpace to allow aspiring signers/freaks to submit audition videos online.
In a statement released Wednesday, executives said videos could be uploaded to MySpace’s American Idol site up until October 6th. The 40 second videos must be sung a cappella and come from an approved list of songs. Here are some of your choices: Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine,” Barry Manilow‘s “Copacabana” and Keith Urban‘s “Kiss a Girl.” Only one video per person is allowed, so don’t get too excited.
A select few will be chosen to join other finalists at the callbacks in Los Angeles.
Start uploading those videos, crazies! If you’re normal, don’t bother.
