Pop princess Katy Perry is trying her acting chops out on the 41st season of children’s show Sesame Street.

During the episode, Perry shows up for a play date with Elmo, who isn’t exactly up for a game of dress up. She then breaks into a kid’s version of her hit song ‘Hot N Cold’, describing how Elmo doesn’t want to play with her anymore.

While this might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, Elmo is cute and Perry has her moments. But are the kids watching Sesame Street even old enough to know who Katy Perry is? Thank goodness she’s not singing ‘I Kissed a Girl.’
