The American Idol season 10 new judges were finally officially announced during a live press conference hosted by the one and only Ryan Seacrest on AmericanIdol.com on Wednesday (September 22)- watch video below.
Jennifer Lopez Finally Signs American Idol Deal Details
There were no surprises. Simon Cowell said goodbye last season. Ellen DeGeneres had quit and Kara DioGuardi was fired before the start of season 10. The new panel of judges includes the old dawg, Randy Jackson, who is the only survivor from previous seasons, and two new additions, pop star Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler.

The whole press conference was a major fiasco. The sound was absolutely terrible and we didn’t hear most of what was said on that stage, which has been considered a bad omen for the new season. I’d say they are doomed from the beginning and season 10 will most probably be the last season of American Idol.
