Jersey Shore‘s ‘Snooki‘ is cashing in on the success of the MTV show by…wait for it…writing a book!

“I’m pumped to announce to my fans a project that I’ve been working on for some time,”

“This book will have you falling in love at the shore.”

What? Who would have guessed she was joking when she said she couldn’t read?

The MTV reality star tweeted in February that she’d just finished her first “bo” (we think she meant book):

“I have mind blowing news! I am officially reading my first bo! Lmao! Nicholas Sparks “dear John!” … I’m proud of myself! Are you Jay Leno?”

Ha. Ha.

Now, “Snooki” (Nicole Polizzi) is working on her first book, tentatively titled A Shore Thing, publisher Simon & Schuster announced today.

Clever! I guess since she’s got me covered in the wit category I’ll refrain from using the headline “Snooki Writes A Booki.”

I knew she was hiding something great under that Bump-It. Can’t wait to get my hands on this!
