Michael wants to help his daughter save herself like what Jamie Spears did for Britney Spears when she hit rock bottom. “The blind leading the blind” is the first thing that comes to mind in Michael’s case.

Michael has already met with attorney David Chon, who specializes in trusts and estates, and they are planning a strategy to get Lindsay’s conservatorship. Of course no judge in their right mind is going to name Michael her conservator, so he has two people in mind, but he is not revealing who.

On the other hand, there are two people Michael doesn’t want to be able to handle his daughter’s business – her mother Dina Lohan and her business manager Lou Taylor – because he believes “they’re in it for themselves.”

Seriously? A conservatorship is not such a bad idea… just put Lindsay in rehab and leave the girl alone. Do not let people like Samantha Ronson near her. Lindsay probably doesn’t have any clean friends and positive influences in her life. So, she needs to start brand new.
