Former child actor Rodney Allen Rippy, best known for appearing in the Jack in the Box commercials in the early 1970’s, is currently hospitalized in a critical condition after being involved in a motorcycle crash in North Carolina on Monday (September 6).

The 42 year-old was reportedly thrown in the air when he crashed his dirt bike, but he only went to the hospital because he had trouble breathing a couple of days later on Wednesday (September 8). The doctors determined Rodney suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung and he’s being treated in the trauma unit.

We wish Rodney a quick and full recovery.

Los Angeles Lakers star Matt Barnes was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence after cops responded to an incomplete 911 call at around 4:15 pm from a resident in Sacramento, California on Wednesday (September 8).

The victim of domestic violence is an unidentified woman, who presented visible injuries and was described as “a woman who lived with him and with whom he had a dating relationship.”

The authorities determine Barnes was the primary aggressor and he was promptly arrested and booked for suspicion of domestic violence and maliciously obstructing the use of a telephone line. Barnes was released on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday (September 13).

The LA Lakers player took to his Twitter shortly after he was released from jail to sort of deny the incident, saying, “Don’t let your ears witness, what your eyes didn’t see!!!” We might have not seen anything, but the cops found an injured woman at his home.

New England Patriots star Tom Brady, who is happily married to Victoria’s Secret Angel Gisele Bundchen, was involved in a serious car crash, in which one person had to be extricated from the vehicle by Jaws Of Life, around 6:30 am in Boston on Thursday (September 9).

The 33 year-old quarterback was “shaken” by this car crash, but he refused to be taken to the hospital and preferred to be examined by the team’s doctor in the Gillette Stadium. The Patriots announced via Twitter, “Patriots QB Tom Brady was in a car accident this morning. He was not hospitalized and is expected at Gillette Stadium today.”

It’s a sad day in the world of pop music– Rich Cronin of the boyband LFO has passed away.

The pop star, who was most famous for the band’s hit “Summer Girls“, had been battling with leukemia for the past 5 years.

No official word from Rich’s camp yet, but his name is trending on Twitter and fans are already sharing their condolences on Rich’s Facebook page.

Lance Bass of the boyband ‘NSync (who was a close friend of Rich’s) tweeted about his departure:

“Sad sad day that Rich Cronin died- was a amazing guy. : (“

Rich celebrated his 35th birthday just a few days ago.

I had the pleasure of meeting him a few years ago and he was a really nice, humble guy. Sad to see him go.

R.I.P. Rich. You certainly left your mark in the music world.
