Top Chef Harold Dieterle, who won the first season of the Bravo’s reality show, and his longtime girlfriend, Meredith Lynn Davies, finally tied the knot in a private ceremony with 175 guests at a downtown church of her hometown of Atlanta on Saturday (September 4).

The couple celebrated with the guests, including fellow season one chefs Lee Anne Wong and Stephen Asprinio, at a reception held at the Capital City Country Club. Judge Tom Colicchio was also invited, but couldn’t make it due to his busy shooting schedule.

Harold and Meredith met at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado back in 2006 right after winning the Top Chef title. The couple decided to spend their honeymoon in Italy, which includes stops at several cities like Rome, Positano and Sicily.

Former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, who was rumored to have been fired and possibly replaced by Jennifer Lopez, has finally confirmed she is indeed leaving the judge panel after only two seasons.

Randy Jackson seems to be the only original judge capable of surviving the Idol revolution. There are a lot of names on the table to replace Simon Cowell, but it seems obvious Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler is more than ready to take his spot. And Jennifer Lopez is reportedly also very close to sign the final deal.

Who will be watching the new season of Idol without Simon, Kara and Ellen? It’s the beginning of the end. We predict this is going to be the tenth and final season of the popular American Idol.

Comedian Robert Schimmel died from injuries sustained in a car crash last week at the hospital in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday night (September 3). Schimmel, who is best known for his work on “The Howard Stern Show”, was only 60 years old.

Schimmel was a passenger in a car driven by his 19 year-old daughter, Aliyah Schimmel, who is also still in the hospital recovering from injuries related to the accident, when they swerved to avoid an accident and ended rolling over on the side of the road.

Our prayers and condolences go out to the Schimmel family, especially to Aliyah, who will be forever traumatized by the tragic development of events that led to the death of her father.

Former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole (née Cheryl Tweedy) and English soccer player Ashley Cole were granted a quick divorce at the High Court in London, England on Friday (September 3). The couple met in 2004 and tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Hertfordshire in 2006.

The 27 year-old singer, who is rumored to be dating Dancing With The Stars pro Derek Hough, announced their separation in February of 2010.

Cheryl still hasn’t decided what named she is going to use. We hope she chooses to be Tweedy and forgets all about her ex-husband. The divorce order is preliminary and if neither side objects the divorce will be finalized within weeks.

Actress Lindsay Lohan, who is irresponsibly free to drive her Maseratti around, was reportedly involved in an accident involving a baby stroller in her West Hollywood neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon (September 1).

According to eyewitnesses, Lindsay accidentally hit the woman pushing a kid in a stroller when she run a red light and failed to look both ways before making a turn. The impact was not big, but enough to scare the poor woman and baby.

“There was a woman pushing a kid in the stroller, maybe a two or three-year-old, crossing the street,” witness Brayan Jaime told RadarOnline. “Lindsay took the red light and hit the stroller. It wasn’t super hard, but she made impact and hit them. Lindsay pulled to the right, stopped for two seconds, and then just kept going.”

“I’m 100 per cent sure Lindsay was driving because I saw her with my own eyes,” Jaime told RadarOnline. “I asked the kid if she was okay and then asked the woman, but she was kind of shocked and didn’t really know what to say and you could tell she was scared.”

The 24 year-old actress did not stop to check if woman and baby were okay, but another eyewitness claims it’s possible she wasn’t aware of the incident since the impact was minimal. The truth is the baby was scared and crying, while the woman was shaken.

“She was just driving like crazy once I started following her. She was trying to lose me, blowing stop signs and stuff,” Jaime said, who followed Lohan after being stunned at what he saw. “Lindsay was scared because she knew I saw what she did.”

Poor Lindsay! That is one of the reason she shouldn’t be able to drive herself around, when she is more worried about escaping the lenses of the paparazzi than with regular traffic rules.

Teresa and her husband Joe Giudice are currently facing some very difficult financial problems as they declared bankruptcy. So Teresa cannot just walk away from Bravo’s hit show. She will also have to deal with the fact that her sister-in-law leaves in a house twice the size of her mansion and is able to spent tremendous amounts of cash in futilities. OUCH!

Teresa will have to learn how to live with a bruised ego!
