“It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia” co-stars Kaitlin Olson and Rob McElhenney welcomed a healthy baby boy named Axel Lee McElhenney in the comfort of their California home at 12:52 pm on Wednesday (September 1).

“I went into labor at the Phillies/Dodgers game on Tuesday night,” says Kaitlin. “As soon as Ryan Howard hit a three-run home run, we felt comfortable leaving to go have our baby. We love him like crazy, even though he made us miss the second half of the game.”

Kaitlin and Rob, who have been together for more than four years, officially tied the knot in Malibu in September of 2008. The couple happily announced they were expecting their first child in March. “Rob and I are so excited it’s stupid,” the 35 year-old actress said at the time.

The sixth season of FX’s “It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia”, which was created and produced by Rob, premieres on September 16, 2010. Congratulations to the proud new parents!

“We are loving hanging with our happy, healthy baby boy, and appreciate our family and friends joining us in celebrating this exciting time,” Rich told People.“Also, he looks way better than I do in a onesie.”

“I’ll try to remain coherent at all times so that I’m not the terrible father that welcomes his son into the world in a fog of pain and alcohol,” Sommer joked. However, he does have the perfect excuse — he was only trying to stay in character: “Son, I was rehearsing.”

The creators of horror film Paranormal Activity are teaming up with Dreamworks and ABC Studios for a new television project. Paranormal writer Oren Peli and Paranormal Activity 2 screenwriter Michael R. Perry are co-creating a show to bring their spooky movie style to the small screen.

The show, titled The River, is about the search for a person who went missing on the Amazon River and utilizes the found-video footage much like the films Blair Witch Project and Cloverfield.

Dreamworks is said to be nearing a deal with ABC. The deal states that the pilot must be produced otherwise a penalty is incurred. The network aggressively fought for the project, even beating out NBC.

Michael Lohan, 50, has moved from New York City to the Los Angeles area in hopes of opening his own “faith-based” rehabilitation center. The father of former rehab patient Lindsay Lohan, 24, has struggled with drugs and alcohol in the past. He has publicly accused Lindsay of abusing prescription drugs, which she adamantly denies.

Michael, who is “getting closer” to sealing a deal to make his dream a reality, said:

“After seeing what my daughter, myself and other people I know have been through, it has led me to realize this is my calling and purpose in life.”

“All of the things that have happened to me in my life have led to this. I know this is what God wants me to do first and foremost.”

He claims that the center will be a spiritual retreat, focused on mind and body. Michael said doctors will not be employed and conventional medical treatments will be taken care of at an associated hospital. He added that the patient’s spiritual beliefs are irrelevant at the center, saying:

“the basis of the rehab will be that there is a God; that good conquers evil; that the best way to live is to treat others like you want to be treated; and treat your body like a temple.”

The famous father said the retreat will not be exclusive to VIP celebrities and the rich and famous:

Well, can’t say I saw this coming, but I also can’t say it surprises me. The Lohan clan needs to disappear for a while. Go to a deserted island, get your shiz together, and then join the rest of the world again.

A 24 year-old woman named Gabriella Cedillo, was rushed to the hospital and underwent brain surgery after a stunt gone terribly wrong during shooting on set of Michael Bay‘s “Transformers 3” movie in Chicago on Wednesday (September 1).

“She had to have brain surgery last night after the accident happened,” confirmed a source who works on the set. “We don’t know how she is doing now, we’re waiting to hear.”

Gabriella, who was an extra on set and not a stunt woman, was inside her own car being towed by another vehicle when the tragic accident happened. The filming has been shut down just one day after completion.

“The vehicle was being towed by another vehicle,” fellow extra Blaine Baker told Chicago station WLS. “The cable between the two vehicles broke. It whipped around and sliced through the woman’s car and sliced through her skull, apparently.”

The authorities have issued an official statement about this accident: “Preliminary investigation revealed that shortly before 7 pm, the movie crew was filming a stunt using numerous vehicles and drivers. During this stunt, an object struck a 2006 Toyota, hitting the vehicle, and then went through the windshield hitting the driver.”

Surprisingly, Paramount Pictures has not released a statement yet.

Rapper Clifford Joseph Harris Jr. aka T.I. is in big trouble and may return to jail soon following his arrest for possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy) on Wednesday night (September 1). T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were both arrested, but the rapper is currently still on probation after serving several months in jail on federal weapon charges.

United States Attorney Sally Quillian Yates tells TMZ, “The probation office is in the process of determining what happened and will make a recommendation regarding Mr. Harris when they have all the facts.”

T.I.’s probation officer has already asked him to return to Atlanta as they try to determine if this incident constitutes a violation of the conditions of his probation. If they decide T.I. broke the rules, the 29 year-old rapper will be forced to serve some serious time behind bars.

T.I. is in some serious trouble! If his wife Tiny takes the blame, she could potentially save her husband… maybe she should call Paris Hilton for some tips! Paris’ BFF did the same for her in South Africa.
