The decision to divorce was apparently mutual. The couple, who has a 15 year-old daughter, wants to keep their separation amicable for the sake of their child. Actress Gloria Stuart, best known for her role as an older version of Kate Winslet’s Rose in “Titanic”, died of lung cancer at the age of 100 years old on Sunday (September 26). Gloria had just celebrated her 100th birthday on July 4, 2010.

Gloria appeared in more than 40 films back in the 1930s, which includes movies like “The Invisible Man“, “Gold Diggers of 1935“, “The Prisoner of Shark Island” and “Poor Little Rich Girl“. Gloria released a memoir titled “I Just Kept Hoping” in 1999, in which she described herself as a late-bloomer after she was finally nominated for an Oscar for her role in James Cameron’s Titanic.

The actress had been diagnosed with lung cancer about two years ago, according to her daughter Sylvia Thompson. Gloria is survived by daughter Sylvia, four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

After an unsuccessful bid for Haitian presidency, Wyclef Jean has been hospitalized for stress and fatigue in New Jersey. The news was originally posted on Twitter by Haitian organization AFACeAFACe, and was then confirmed by Wyclef’s personal Twitter:

AFACeAFACe later posted an update of Wyclef’s health:

Wyclef has reportedly been experience severe headaches for weeks, which eventually forced the singer to check into a hospital. A source close to him said:

“Sesame Street” did a Muppets parody of HBO’s hit show “True Blood”, starring Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer and Alexander Skarsgard, which has caused some controversy due to the nature of the show in question. “True Blood” is also about vampires, blood, thirst, violence and sex.

The spoof “True Mud” is completely unjustified and not appropriate for kids. Kids shouldn’t be watching “True Blood”. Parents do not want their kids to ask to watch this show no matter how cute Bill, the grouch (instead of vampire), sounds when he desperately asks Sookie to give him the “mud” (instead of blood).
