Margaret Cho Awkward Samba On Dancing With The Stars (VIDEO)

The competition has finally begun! The ten remaining celebrity dancers and their professional dance partners were asked to tell a story through their performance on the dance floor of Dancing With The Stars on Monday (October 4). Margaret Cho and her partner Louis van Amstel danced the Samba to the sound of Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana” (watch video below).

That was just awkward. There was no story, but Margaret defended it and told it was all about being gay and proud… we didn’t get that vibe. And it was all kind of embarrassing from start to finish. Len Goodman thought the dance became a “bit heavy on the legs”, while Carrie Ann Inaba said Cho was so excited that she completely lost control.

I watch “Dancing With The Stars” for entertainment. I am so tired of TV programs that are being watched for enjoyment being used for “political agendas”. I am considering not tuning in until this dancer gets voted off. If the show continues to move in this direction, my Monday and Tuesday evenings will be tuned in to another network.
I tune in to see good dancing and to watch amateurs develop into good dancers. People need to keep that aspect of their personal lives to themselves. I’m not gay bashing; I don’t want to see the “straight” dancers exhibiting their sexual perferences on the air for my entertainment either.
