Gavin Rossdale’s Gay Lover Marilyn Speaks
Gwen Stefani’s husband Gavin Rossdale, who also announced he was reuniting with the band Bush, has finally admitted that he had a relationship with British pop star Marilyn (Peter Robinson), but claims he is very secure about his sexuality and it was just part of his different life experiences.

Gavin said, “I don’t think there’s anything strange about any form of… learning about life. It’s a part of growing up.” This gay relationship was apparently more than just one innocent experience since Marilyn claims they dated for five years in the early 1980’s.

Marilyn said, “Gavin and Gwen are perfect for each other, but he was the love of my life.” When their romance was exposed back in 1995 in Boy George’s book “Take It Like a Man”, Marilyn “agreed to lie against every grain of my being.
Marilyn confessed, “I am pleased that Gavin is finally able to be honest about our relationship. I just wish he could have come to terms with this 15 years ago.”
“I think it’s really hypocritical that Gavin can do an interview about me, yet me doing one about him is wrong!” Marilyn wrote on Facebook. “I find it sad that when I spoke out about what we had, I was labeled a tattletale — and now, Gavin is using it to promote himself,” he adds.
“Maybe one day Gwen will allow my name to be spoken again in her home without it having any negative connotations,” he says.

Do you think it’s possible Gavin is using this story as a part of a publicity stunt to promote his new project with the band Bush? I’m not convinced this is good publicity (it’s not!), but at least we are now talking about Gwen’s husband’s band again.
