2 Female Postal Workers Killed at US Post Office in Henning, TN

WMC-TV 5 out of Memphis is reporting that two female postal workers were killed this morning at the U.S. Post Office in Henning, Tennessee.

Henning is located in Lauderdale County with a population of around 1,000 people.  The small town is the resting place of the late Alex Haley who wrote Roots.  His grave lays next to his boyhood home in Henning.

It lies half-way in between Memphis and Jackson, Tennessee due north.

The killer(s) remain on the loose. The USPS has issued a $25,000 reward for any information that might lead to who did this heinous crime.
