Kanye West’s Twisted Fantasy Album Cover Banned, Twitter Rant
Rapper/producer Kanye West took to his Twitter to express his profound indignation over having his new album titled “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” banned in many retail outlets across the country due to its graphic artwork (pictures below), which was created by artist George Condo.
Kanye West Scandalous Nude Pictures Leaked
Kanye West’s Twitter Rant on banned album cover, which features a Kanye werewolf chilling on the couch while a female phoenix straddles his lap (creative, but not shockingly graphic):
“Yoooo they banned my album cover!!!!! Ima tweet it in a few…”
“Banned in the USA!!! They don’t want me chilling on the couch with my phoenix! In the 70s album covers had actual nudity… It’s so funny that people forget that… Everything has been so commercialized now. I know that cover just blew yall minds … I wish yall could see how hard I’m smiling right now!!!”
“In all honesty … I really don’t be thinking about Wal-Mart when I make my music or album covers #Kanyeshrug! I wanna sell albums but not at the expense of my true creativity. So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can’t have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings.”
Kanye West’s New Song “Runaway” At 2010 MTV VMAs (VIDEO)
“My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”, which features songs like “Power” and “Runaway”, will be released on November 22, 2010. Kanye still has some time to create a “safe” version of his twisted fantasy for the album’s artwork… but is he willing to do so?
