Porn star Jenna Jameson is in talks for a role in the Broadway hit musical Rock of Ages.

She is currently in the running for the role of Venus strip club owner Justice. The character’s big number in the show is Journey‘s “Any Way You Want It,” which is obviously appropriate for the x-rated superstar.

Jenna said:

“I am in talks with the ‘Rock of Ages’ producers, and I’m praying I get the role. Broadway has always been a dream of mine ever since I was a little girl. I am really excited.

“I’m meeting with the producers [today], and I just hope I have enough talent to carry the role. We are talking about a run that would be anything from a month to three months, and it could start very soon.”

She added:

“I think I’m perfect for the role, and I am really looking forward to becoming a New Yorker.”

A source close to the show said:

“The producers were surprised, but Jenna has a good voice. And while she’s famous for her X-rated movies, she can act. This may be a shock to traditional Broadway fans, but the show is always trying to push the boundaries.”

The Tony-nominated musical features music from popular rock bands like Styx, Whitesnake and Bon Jovi. Jameson, the mom of year-old twins, would be replacing Michelle Mais, who has played the role since 2005.
