Randy Travis & Wife Elizabeth ‘Lib’ Travis Divorce
Country singer/actor Randy Travis and his wife/manager Elizabeth “Lib” Travis have decided to divorce after almost twenty years of marriage. The couple, who secretly tied the knot in 1991, filed a petition for dissolution of marriage, claiming a “state of incompatibility exists between the two parties”.
“The divorce was finalized as of this morning,” spokesperson Maureen O’Connor confirmed to People on Friday. “Elizabeth and Randy Travis have agreed to part ways. Elizabeth will remain Mr. Travis’ personal manager. They do not intend to comment any further and ask for your respect for their privacy during this time.”
Elizabeth and Randy dated for ten years before getting married. Lib was previously married and unhappy when she basically turned around both Randy’s life and career. Lib finally broke free from her marriage and claims Randy gave her the courage to do so.
It’s the end of a beautiful thirty year romantic relationship between Randy and Lib, but she will continue to work as his manager. The two will also continue to be good friends.

I hate to say it but I am shocked by Randy’s appearance. He looks as old as his ex-wife and he also looks as if he could use a few good meals. Its always sad to see a long term marriage end but given the differences in their ages, its a wonder it lasted as long as it did. His song, Forever amd Ever is one of my favorites even though I dont usually like country music. I loved the thought it expressed.
Im surprised that some people think he’s gay. First, if he were, its nobody’s business but his. Second, I dont see how such a secret could have been kept for 20+ years. Third, gay or straight, he is still a great singer. Its good to see that he and his ex are not playing the blame game in public. Classy couple.
