Actor Bradley Whitford and actress Jane Kaczmarek are finally officially divorced (more photos here). The two went through a very civilized and amicable process in which they divided everything, including assets and the custody of their children.

However, Jane and Bradley had to fight over taxes… taxes related to the custody of their children. Yeah, a divorce can never really go smoothly without people ending up fighting for small (or not so small) things.

According to court documents, the former couple had to make several adjustments. Jane will claim two of their children as dependents on taxes, while Bradley gets the third one until 2014. After 2014, Bradley will be able to claims two kids in odd numbered years and Jane in even numbered years. WOW! That’s quite a mathematic exercise all in the name of taxes.

Actor Leonard Nimoy, best known for his role as Spock on the original “Star Treck” series, is currently recovering from a “minor benign abdominal surgery”. The 79 year-old might have had to cancel a couple of appearances, but he is said to be “recovering beautifully”.

In a statement released by California’s Carpenter Performing Arts Centre, the actor thanks for the messages of support and to the fans and his wife, Susan Bay Nimoy “extends her thanks to everyone for their get-well wishes”.

The judge believes Lindsay is a drug addict who needs rehab not jail, specifically ordering her to be in rehab past New Year. The judge told Lindsay, “You are an addict. I hope you understand that.” When Lindsay nodded her head, he added, “I don’t want another train wreck.”

Too late! Lindsay is a train wreck! She got emotional and cried when asked if she understood she would be subjected to drug testing between her release from rehab until her new court date on February 25.
