Florence was a bit shocked with her elimination and surprised Bristol Palin, who has continuously received the lowest scores on the show, was not voted off. DWTS lost The Situation last week, they couldn’t lose Bristol this week – the show would have turned into a ratings nightmare for ABC!

Florence told US that she “was a little surprised, but you know I’ve watched this show since it began, and I’ve seen absolutely shocking things happen on it, so somebody has to go.”

On the other hand, Bristol was extremely thankful for being able to spend one more week with the gorgeous Mark Ballas (I kid!) and explains that people choose to keep her because they finally saw her personality, including “rawness and vulnerability” in a monkey suit.

Bristol tells Us, “I’m so relieved. It is like a big weight was lifted off my shoulders. I was scared and nervous going into the night, but we got through so that’s very exciting … I was definitely surprised and shocked when they said we were safe… with our low scores and stuff, it was pretty stressful.”

“I’m just so thankful that they kept me another week and they see potential in me obviously,” she tells Us. “Hopefully I can prove that I can be a performer.” Bristol says her confidence is now “pretty high … but I know we’ve got lots of work to do for next week, and I’m ready to go practice.”

British singer/songwriter Rod Stewart’s son, Sean Stewart, who was on season 2 of “Celebrity Rehab” with Dr. Drew, was arrested for an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended license after being pulled over by the police in the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday (October 19).

Beverly Hills PD took Sean to jail, where he was booked at 4:33 and released at 8:54 after posting $40,000 bail. The 30 year-old is the son of Rod with his first wife Alana Hamilton.

Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was arrested and charged with public intoxications after a woman called 911, claiming a shirtless man was trying to get in her car on Tuesday night (October 19).

The 23 year-old was totally wasted and soaking wet when the cops arrived. When questioned by the police, Pat admitted that he had drunk “a lot ’cause I am drunk. I know I am drunk, but does that mean I cannot walk home?”

Poor Pat! The NFL star took a breathalyzer test that registered an alcohol level of 0.15, which is almost double the legal limit. Pat is still in police custody and will be released only when he is finally sober.

Playboy Playmate Of The Year (1968), Angela Dorian (aka Victoria Rathgeb; aka Victoria Vetri) was arrested and charged with attempted murder after she allegedly shot her boyfriend from close range at their Hollywood apartment on Saturday night (October 16).

The 66 year-old Playmate and her boyfriend reportedly got into a heated argument that turned physical, when she grabbed a handgun and shot him. There was apparently only one shot fired into the boyfriend’s upper body.

The boyfriend was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive. Angela initially told cops that he had been shot by a drug dealer. The Playmate was arrested and remains in jail on a $1,000,000 bail. If convicted, Angela could face up to life behind bars.

Actor Jean-Claude Van Damme reportedly suffered a minor heart attack on the set of his latest action movie “Weapon” a day after her celebrated his 50th birthday on Monday (October 18).

Jean-Claude was briefly hospitalized in a New Orleans hospital before being given the permission to return to his country. The actor is reportedly currently resting and being taken care of by his wife Gladys Portugues at his home in Belgium.

The “Weapon” production has been stalled as Jean-Claude recovers. The movie is set to hit theaters in 2011, but there is no word on when filming will resume.

Big Brother 10 winner, Dan Gheesling, surprised his longtime girlfriend Chelsea when he went down on one knee and offered her a 2-carat diamond ring in front of a big crowd during a high school football game on Saturday night (October 16).

Dan, an assistant coach at Mary’s Prep in Michigan, gave one of the best halftime performances as he proposed to his girl, who works with the cheerleading squad. Chelsea was shocked, but still managed to say “YES!”

That was super embarrassingly romantic. Way to go, Dan! Chelsea and Dan are planning to finally tie the knot next summer. Congratulations to the newly engaged couple!
