The 50 year-old actress confessed Clark told her “not to touch anything, to be who I am, because I look great.” And it’s true! Jennifer looks absolutely gorgeous and she is in fantastic shape.

“Before the show, I thought, Oh, I should get some Botox, get rid of the wrinkles under my eyes,” Jennifer said. “When you put a lot of makeup, the lines become very apparent.”

“Aging is inevitable and the idea that we can be eternally youthful is the pitfall of our society,” says Jennifer, mother to daughter, Stella, 8. “When my body and face were perfect as far as youth, I wasn’t happy. If you try to hold on to something you don’t have anymore, you can’t be happy in the moment.”

Did Jennifer say the idea of “eternal youth” is the pitfall of society? Well, Jennifer has certainly changed her perspective. This coming from the same woman, who got two nose jobs that left her unrecognizable and basically ended her promising acting career back in the early 1990s. We do learn from our mistakes.

I’m older and more comfortable with my femininity. The first time I was about 19 and was very nervous. I was more of a tomboy, I guess. I’ve always had a great time shooting with Maxim. I feel like it gives me my freedom. It’s an edgy magazine, so it’s cool.

What dating advice would you give Maxim readers?
I like a classy man, a gentleman who opens the door and gives flowers and always puts the lady first. I’m a little old-fashioned like that.

Though she’s been acting since she was just a kid, Glee star Lea Michele (she plays Rachel) says it wasn’t supposed to happen that way.

Lea Michele says she went to a Broadway audition in support of her friend, but things turned out very differently than she’d anticipated:

“It was a joke, I just went to support my friend. But I auditioned and I got it. It was total luck.”

Lea had other career aspirations before she landed her acting gig:

“At that point, I wanted to work as a waiter or in a grocery store – I had that fake grocery store with the toy food and money. I was 8 years old – but I auditioned for Broadway and I got it.”

So how did she finally transition to the hugely popular musical comedy, Glee?

“I went from show to show until I came out to Los Angeles when I was 21.”

I’m sure casting her was a total no-brainer, and it has proven to be a good bet — she’s the Glee star!

Crazy that instead she could be checking you out at your local grocery store. Lucky break!

Many people may think she’s stuck at ‘Fifteen,’ but Taylor Swift will be turning the big 21 this December.

So what are the big plans? Open bar? Wild Nashville party? Male strippers?

Nope — Taylor told Ladies Home Journal that a glass of wine will fill her birthday quota:

“Maybe I’ll have a glass of wine – but nothing too hardcore for me. I’ve never had the burning desire to drink,”

“I need to be in control of what I say, and if I drank, I’d stress out about saying the wrong thing at the wrong time.”

What’s the fun in turning 21 if you’re not going to embarrass yourself?

Just kidding — that’s really responsible of her! Miley could learn a thing or two.

Taylor also said that her favorite thing about living on her own is throwing adult dinner parties:

“I’m most excited about throwing dinner parties and cooking for people. The other night I made this dish with chicken, penne and capers that I am so proud of,”

Taylor turns 21 on December 13, 2010 — but not before she releases her third full-length record, Speak Now, on October 25th.
