Actor/producer/screenwriter Danny McBride and his girlfriend Gia Ruiz tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at an unknown location on Saturday (October 9), his rep confirmed.

Gia and Danny started dating about a year ago on set of HBO’s “Eastbound & Down”, where he plays a disgraced former MLB pitcher named Kenny Powers and she works behind-the-scenes in the art department.

Danny recently revealed he received a weird e-mail from Marilyn Mason, who is a big fan of the HBO series, and the two have quickly become e-mail buddies. Mason might appear on the as Danny’s character’s sidekick, Stevie Janowski. Danny said, “You know, I equate it to this: Marilyn likes the show, and maybe it would ruin it for him, if he appeared on it.”

The 38th Annual American Music Awards nominations were announced by Demi Lovato and Taio Cruz at the Mixing Room inside the JW Marriott in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday (October 12).

Eminem and Lady Antebellum lead the pack with five nominations each. They are closely followed by Justin Bieber, who got four nods, and Katy Perry, Usher and Ke$ha with three nominations each.

The winners will be announced during the 2010 AMAs ceremony held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on November 21, 2010.
