Former MLB star Roberto Alomar’s wife, Maria Del Pilar Rivera “Maripily” Alomar, accused her husband, who knew he was HIV-positive, of having unprotected sex with her during their marriage in the divorce documents.

Maria claims Roberto “knew prior to his first sexual contact with (her) that he was HIV-positive” and outright lied to her, assuring her “he had been tested for sexually transmitted diseases and the tests were negative.”

This seems to be Roberto’s M.O. since it’s not the first time a woman accuses him of consciously endangering her health/life. In February of 2009, Ilya Dall, filed a $15 million lawsuit against the former baseball player (more details here).

9-year-old Beatrice Delap had no idea that her wish would come true when she sent a letter to Johnny Depp‘s Pirates of the Caribbean character Jack Sparrow — much like writing to Santa or the Easter Bunny (they’re VERY busy).

In her letter, Beatrice asked for Jack Sparrow’s help in ‘fighting’ her teachers:

“We are a bunch of budding young pirates. Normally we’re a right handful, but we’re having trouble mutinying against the teachers. We’d love it if you could come and help.”

Johnny Depp, who is in London filming Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, showed up at the girl’s primary school on Wednesday in full costume.

Beatrice told the London Tonight news team an account of the meeting:

“He asked where I was in the audience. I put my hand up and then I had to go up and he gave me a hug,”

“He said, ‘Maybe we shouldn’t mutiny today because there are police outside monitoring me.’ ”

“I said, ‘Yeah, that’s probably a good idea.’ “

Too cute! And, as I’m sure he knows, GREAT publicity for Depp and the next Pirates film.

The ever-fierce Rihanna is hard at work on her new album, Loud, which she says is so awesome it keeps her awake at night.

The  singer told the Daily Star

“When you go to a club and have to listen to bad music you revert to the liquor because you want to have a good time,”

“I hate having to skip a track, especially if I am in the shower. I wanted to make an album you just play.”

Rihanna says she’s hopeful that fans will really enjoy her new record when it comes out, and stresses that she’s living, breathing and (not) sleeping it:

“Every time I listen to new songs I’m making up videos in my head or thinking about how I would perform it live – that’s why I don’t sleep,”

The rumored second single from Loud, “Who’s That Chick“, leaked last month, though Rihanna denied that it was even a part of the record.

She did, however, let it slip that the third single from the record will be “S & M“, which she says:

“It’s the loudest track on the album. It’s bad ass,”

“And the ‘S&M’ video is going to be totally unexpected. I’m sure people will be surprised.”

I’m sure all of her hardwork will really pay off, and I’m sure Rihanna fans are very excited for Loud to drop on November 16th!

But as an actor, I had to believe that there was no one other than Mark who could have had the social insight, technical wherewithal, and, most significantly, the ambition to make Facebook work.”
