Kyle Massey and his partner Lacey Schwimmer danced a sophisticated Waltz to the sound of “Falling In Love at a Coffee Shop” by Landon Pigg (watch video below).

Kyle is a box full of surprises. The story telling was perfect and sweet. Kyle is a performer and he brings so much energy to the dance floor even in a Waltz. Carrie Ann Inaba loves everything Kyle does. She has a big crush on him. Len Goodman loved it too, but said Kyle’s footwork was atrocious.

Brandy and her partner Maksim Chmerkovsky basically tried hard to tell the story of “The Bodyguard” in a Samba to the sound of Alicia Keys ft. Beyonce’s “Put It In a Love Song” (watch video below).

Brandy did her best to show she “loves” Maks, who continued to treat her like crap. He spent the whole rehearsal spanking her booty every time she got a move wrong. They didn’t tell a story and the performance was just “beige”. Brandy did improve a bit. Len Goodman called Maksim out on his teaching technique. Maksim is so full of himself. I dunno why they keep him on the show.

Bristol Palin and her partner Mark Ballas danced the Foxtrot to the sound of Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are” (watch video below).

They tell the story of a homeless guy and a rich snob girl who connect through dancing… or something like that! Bristol’s acting skills are very poor and she can’t really show emotion when she dances. Len Goodman called their dance “a bit too contemporary” and Carrie Ann Inaba just thought it “wasn’t happening”. Very poor performance.

Audrina Patridge and her partner Tony Dovolani danced an emotional Waltz to the sound of Ray LaMontagne’s “Let It Be Me” (watch video below).

Wow! Who knew Audrina had it in her. There was so much emotion in their story of a woman who lost her love to war. Bruno claimed every movement was connected to an emotional journey and Len Goodman declared it the most touching dance of the night. Audrina got the first 9’s of the season and Tony did wax his legs after they failed to get the three 8’s last week.

That was just awkward. There was no story, but Margaret defended it and told it was all about being gay and proud… we didn’t get that vibe. And it was all kind of embarrassing from start to finish. Len Goodman thought the dance became a “bit heavy on the legs”, while Carrie Ann Inaba said Cho was so excited that she completely lost control.

They tried to tell the story of the upbeat former NFL star and the depressed Russian, who is contaminated by his positivity and energy. Kurt continues to impress us with his smile, elegance and charm on the dance floor. Bruno did not like the arm movement, said he had like “frying pans” and almost dropped his partner. Boo!

Florence Henderson and partner Corky Ballas delivered a very romantic/emotional Waltz to the sound of “Edelweiss” by Rodgers and Hammerstein (watch video below).

That was super sweet and the kiss at the end of the dance was just natural. The story telling was beautiful, but there was something missing… according to Len Goodman, technique and footwork. Florence continues to deliver quite impressive performances. We hope she comes back next week.

Jennifer Grey and her partner Derek Hough danced a super fun Samba to the sound of Erasure’s “A Little Respect” (watch video below).

They told the classic story of the student who is hot for the teacher. They did it well. It was fun and entertaining to watch. In my opinion, Jennifer’s outfit with those hideous pants just killed the samba. Of course Bruno loved it and called her something like “the mistress of cougar town samba”. Whatever. Carrie Ann Inaba thought Derek and Jen were a bit out of sync last night. Anyhow, we love it!

The weekend box office winner, ‘The Social Network‘, gives a good look at how this generation’s biggest social media impact — Facebook — came to be. But, not everything you saw in the film is true!

MTV’s Movie Blog breaks the movie down and gives us a look at what was added for plot.

WARNING: May contain spoilers!

A few interesting points:

-Mark Zuckerberg‘s (Jesse Eisenberg) female hangup, ‘Erica‘ (Rooney Mara) from Boston University was an addition to the plot. She wasn’t a real lady friend in Mark’s life, even though she was a re-occuring emotional issue for the Facebook founder in the movie.

In fact, Mark had a steady girl in his life throughout the time he was developing Facebook. Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg made things official in 2005, after she was hired to work for his company. The blogger thinks she was left out so that audiences wouldn’t find his character easy to sympathize with:

“Zuckerberg in the film is not motivated by a desire to attract women; if anything Facebook becomes the object of his affection”

Interesting!

So what about Sean Parker/Justin Timberlake‘s run-in with the cops and some white powder?

True! But, it didn’t happen at a party with underage Facebook interns. Parker was let go as president of Facebook after he was caught with cocaine on a 2005 kiteboarding trip in North Carolina. He wasn’t charged, but he was no longer considered trustworthy.

In light of the death of Tyler Clementi, the Rutgers freshman who jumped off of the George Washington Bridge after his roommate videotaped him involved in a sexual act with another man, many celebrities are expressing their outrage.

Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry Potter, gave the following statement to MTV News regarding the recent event(s) and teen suicide in general:

“Learning about the suicide deaths of Tyler Clementi, Seth Walsh, Asher Walker, Billy Lucas and Justin Aaberg has been heartbreaking for me. These young people were bullied and tormented by people that should have been their friends,”

“We have a responsibility to be better to each other, and accept each others’ differences regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ability, or religion and stand up for someone when they’re bullied.”

Couldn’t agree more, Dan.

The Harry Potter star also encouraged young people to open up their eyes, ears, and hearts when they think a friend might be in trouble, and to reach out to them to keep tragedies like this from happening:

“When a friend is feeling depressed or says they’re thinking of killing themselves, we must take it seriously and get them help,”

“My deepest sympathies go out to the families and friends of these excellent young people. And to all the young people who are being bullied right now, you are not alone.”

I think it’s great that stars like Daniel are speaking out to the public about these issues — especially when they have young, impressionable fans. It’s just really too bad that it takes something awful to open people’s eyes.
