Sexy Jordin Sparks Body By Milk Ads

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks is the newest celebrity to launch her own fragrance. The singer, who is currently starring in the hit Broadway show In the Heights, has named her perfume Because of You. She said:

“When I was starting this project, I really wanted it to be affordable. I looked at some other celebrity fragrances, and they were like $80. Even now, I look at a fragrance that’s $80, and I can’t bring myself to spend that much. In this economy especially, my fans deserve a high-quality, reasonably priced scent.”

Because of You hits stores this week and will retail at an introductory price of $9.50 for 2.5oz bottle. On November 1st, the same bottle will jump to $14.95. Sparks said she wanted her “fruity floriental” scent to easily work for day or night. She also added that she has high hopes for creating other beauty lines starting with cosmetics and skin care.

“The Daily Show” correspondent John Oliver recently proposed to his longtime girlfriend Kate Norley while they were on vacation in St. Thomas. Kate said “YES!” and the two are officially engaged, but they did not yet agreed on a date for their special day.

Kate and John, who met at a Republican National Convention back in 2008, will marry “some time next year”. Kate is an Iraq War vet who is looking for a quiet lifestyle by John’s side.

“I was a medic in the Army,” she explains. “It was difficult, but right now it’s nice that I get to spend time with the love of my life.”

“It’s the most emasculating thing I could possibly do to go out with someone who has actually done something valuable with their life,” Oliver adds jokingly.

Pop Princess Britney Spears, who was recently honored with a GLEE episode especially dedicated to her music (more details/video here), decided to mark this new stage of her life with new ink on her neck.

Britney seemed to be sporting a new tattoos of three butterflies going up her neck on her right side while she and her boyfriend Jason Trawick left Toys’R’Us on Saturday (October 2). The 28 year-old mother-of-two also has several other tiny tattoos on her ankle, lower back and bikini line.

CBS Radio News Correspondent Howard Arenstein and his wife, reporter Orly Azoulay were arrested for possession of pot with intent to distribute in Washington, D.C., on Saturday (October 2).

Howard and his wife have eleven 8 feet tall marijuana plants growing in the backyard of their luxurious home in the posh Georgetown neighborhood. Each of those plants could produce a pound of pot. The cops also found drug paraphernalia inside their home.

This came as a shock for most neighbors since Howard is a prestigious journalist who has received the Edward R. Murrow award twice, while his wife is also working as a correspondent for one of the largest newspapers in Israel.

Bounty hunter Duane Chapman aka Dog Chapman was rushed to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles on Saturday (October 2) with extreme pain in his left leg, which he had injured in the line of duty a few weeks ago.

Dog’s wife Beth Chapman wrote said in a statement for his official website, “He was admitted for tests for a possible blood clot following an injury he suffered on a bounty hunt.” She added, “Duane is in very capable hands and we thank everyone for their prayers.”

Dog was quickly released from the hospital when it was determined that he did not have a blood clot. Apparently the bounty hunter’s muscle separated from the bone and caused an internal bleeding that has gotten worse with his constant travelling during the past week.

Beth tweeted an update on Dog’s condition: “Yes dog is injured it is an occupational hazard that we deal with he is very strong and in excellent condition he will 4 sure survive.” We wish Dog, who is currently in LA for promotional TV and radio appearances, a full and quick recovery.

Singer/songwriter Bruno Mars has officially been charged with one felony count of possession of a controlled substance after being arrested for cocaine possession at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas last month (September 19).

Bruno faces up to four years in the slammer and the payment of a fine up to $5,000. Since Bruno has a clean criminal record, he will most probably escape jail time and be put on probation. Lucky!

Italian model Cristina Del Basso is reportedly another of Tiger Woods’ mistresses (pictures below). The sexy brunette is probably the golfer’s biggest conquest. They allegedly had an affair while he was still married to his wife Ellen Nordegren, but we do not know for how long and in what circumstances.

CNN anchor Rick Sanchez was fired from his job on Friday (October 1), one day after he called Jon Stewart a bigot and claimed the network was “run by jews” on Stand Up! With Pete Dominick radio show.

“I think Jon Stewart’s a bigot,” Sanchez said on the Sirius radio show Thursday. “He grew up in a suburban middle class New Jersey home with everything you could imagine. He’s a bigot against everyone who’s not like him.”

OUCH! The 52 year-old anchor was promptly fired by CNN that released quite a gracious statement. “Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company,” read the statement. “We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well.”

“Bad Girls Club” star Erica Langston confirmed that she made a sex tape featuring a threesome with her boyfriend (photo above) and another girl, one of her co-stars, while she was shooting the show in Miami earlier this year.

The cheerleader refused to identify her female sex tape partner, but revealed she is actually considering the possibility of releasing the sex tape… if she can get a good deal from some porn company for its distribution.
