Monday, Whitney Port, star of MTV reality show The City, confirmed rumors that her show has been cancelled.

She told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show:

“As of right now it doesn’t really look like we’re doing it anymore.”

When Seacrest asked if it was a possibility that the show would move to another network, she replied:

“No, at this point it’s not.”

The City was an NYC-based spin-off of one of MTV’s highest rated shows of all time, The Hills. Whitney, who is working as a fashion designer, added:

“I’m working on some other things. It’s OK — one door closes and another opens.”

I’ve always thought Whitney was adorable (and dumb as rocks), but let’s face it, she’s no Lauren Conrad. Stick to fashion, Whitney!

According to Ryan Gosling, being the in The Mickey Mouse Club with stars like Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake as a child wasn’t a walk in the park.

The actor, 29, recently spoke with Interview Magazine about his two years spent dancing backup for Christina, Britney and Justin:

“It was kind of depressing because when I got there, they realized that I wasn’t really up to snuff in comparison with what some of the other kids were able to do.”

“I remember one time they put four of us in a dance routine, but I was so off,” he recalls. “I was on the end, so they just pushed the shot in closer on the other three guys to frame me out. I would just come in at the beginning of the show and then come back at the end, and occasionally I’d have a sketch here or there, but I didn’t end up working that much, which was disheartening.”

He added that he spent most of his time in the park itself (which I totally would have done too), saying:

“It was interesting as a kid to go backstage to the commissary, and to see all of the people who were playing the characters with their heads off next to them while they were eating lunch.”

Jennifer Mee — dubbed the ‘Hiccup Girl‘ after she appeared on the “Today” show several times and gained media attention for nonstop hiccups in 2007 — is now facing 1st degree felony murder charges.

Mee met a man online and, with the help of two accomplices, lured him into a vacant home,  robbed and killed him.

Jennifer didn’t shoot the man, but St. Petersburg, Florida, Police Chief Chuck Harmon says she’s facing the same charges as the men who did.

“She was well aware of what was going on,”

“She was obviously the set-up person in this robbery.”

The victim, Shannon Griffin, was only carrying $50-$60, but he was shot with a .38-caliber revolver anyway.

Such a shame. Let’s hope she doesn’t get the hiccups in prison, I have a feeling they’ll be less inclined to help her now that she’s a murderer.

“America’s Got Talent” contestant Joe Finley reported his wife Laura Finley missing right before he auditioned and her body was later found in a stairwell at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday (October 24).

Joe, who was arrested for drug possession (ecstasy) on the same day his wife was found dead, is currently being considered a “person of interest” in her mysterious death. There is no information about the circumstance of Laura’s tragic death.

A rep for Fremantle, the production company behind “America’s Got Talent,” tells TMZ, “We are fully cooperating with authorities to investigate this very unfortunate situation and have no further comment at this time.”

The contestant apparently had three pills of ecstasy when the cops interrogated him about his wife’s death. Joe was promptly arrested and released on $10,000 bail on Sunday morning.

Funny man Zach Galifianakis is sharing his modeling talents with Vanity Fair. The Hangover star posed for the camera in a magenta one-piece and, might I add, looks damn good doing it.

Glee star and Emmy winner Jane Lynch sat down to talk about her personal life, career and turning 50 with MORE Magazine.

On marrying her partner, Lara Embry:

“I shouldn’t say this, but I’d never dated anyone that I wanted to marry. I didn’t think it was going to be out there for me. But the minute we were married, I felt the difference: I felt like I am no longer alone. I got married—and I married a doctor!”

On her decision to become sober:

She says that at 31 years old, she realized she was getting drunk every night. “I was hungover all the time.” One evening she told a friend, “I’m pouring out this glass of wine and never drinking again.” She kept her promise. “Relatively speaking, my personal bottom was rather benign.” Lynch says she used to stand up at 12-step meetings and apologetically say, “Had I known I’d be telling my story over and over again, I would have made it a lot better.”

On turning 50:

“I like the equanimity that comes with my age. I don’t have big highs, and I don’t have big lows. Even if this job goes away tomorrow, the nonstop ambition is a thing of the past for me. I’ve mellowed.”

BMX rider T.J. Lavin has been in a coma following a nasty crash on his bike a week and a half ago, but he is now reportedly conscious.

T.J. Lavin hosts MTV‘s Real World/Road Rules Challenge.

Lavin’s business partner Chas Aday told PEOPLE that T.J. is starting to communicate:

“He’s answering questions. He’ll say ‘yes’ a little bit and he knows where he is, but he’s not opening his eyes yet.”

“We’re waiting on the orthopaedic surgeon on when they’re going to do that (operate). Then we’ll see when he’ll be (released from hospital). He may be there another week.”

T.J. suffered a broken wrist and several ribs in the crash.

We’re rooting for him on a swift recovery!

Do men have internal clocks for child bearing? I guess so, because Robert Downey Jr.’s is ticking!

Following his role as an expectant father in the upcoming movie, Due Date, RDJ says another baby could be in his future:

“I think I will be wrist-deep in doo-doo within 18 months. I’m calling it right here,”

Downey is 45 and has a 17-year old son, Indio, with his ex-wife Deborah Falconer.

He thinks if there’s another baby on the way for him and his wife Susan Downey, that it should be a girl:

“I think we should probably try to have a girl, because I don’t want another male entity to have to compete; I don’t want Indio to feel there’s another boy in my life. But I don’t know what we’d have to do [to have a girl]. Do we have to put it in a spoon and hang it upside-down?”

Funny! Good luck to them, hopefully we’ll see a little Downey girl in 18 months, as promised.

Actor Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso have welcomed a healthy baby girl named Stella Zavala Damon, their third daughter together on Wednesday (October 20).

“My wife is about to have our fourth kid and we’ve drawn a line in the sand,” he recently told Parade. “This is it. Our lives are full and wonderful and we’re done having kids.”

“Lucy is in her third trimester for the fourth time and I think that’s about enough to ask of any woman,” Damon said. “I don’t want to turn her into Ethel Kennedy,” the political matriarch who famously bore 11 children.

Added Damon, 40: “If I had a bucket list, I’d say raising my four girls to be strong, good women would be number one.”

Luciana and Damon tied the knot back in 2005 and already had three daughters, Isabella (4), Gia (2), and Alexia (11), Luciana’s daughter from a previous relationship.
