British singer Lily Allen was rushed to the hospital with a potential fatal blood-poisoning, best known as septicaemia, on Friday night (November 5) following a miscarriage earlier this week. Lily was six months pregnant with her boyfriend Sam Cooper’s child.
This is a serious condition that can develop into septic shock if left untreated. The 25 year-old, who suffered her second miscarriage in less than three years, is responding well to treatment and continues to improve.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Lily and her family. Get well soon!
