Musician John Mayer is reportedly having a steamy affair with Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis, who has been married to fashion designer Todd Thompson and has a 2 year-old daughter named Jade.

According to Star Magazine, Giada and John secretly met in different hotels at least twice last month. They were seen together at the Boom Boom Room at The Standard hotel and near Hotel Gansevoort, where they allegedly booked a room, in New York.

“John had one hand on the small of her back,” an eyewitness tells Star. “They looked like two people who were going to go home together.”

A source close to John says, “This doesn’t surprise me one bit! He’s always talked about how he was into her.”

Both John and Giada have vehemently denied they had an affair. That is the polite thing to do, right!?! Deny everything! However, Giada admits she met John and is a fan of his music and that is as far as their relationship goes.

Giada confessed, “I was at The Standard that night.” She was there, but she claims she didn’t even see him that particular night. “I’ve met him and he’s a great guy, but I just like his music. That’s all.”
