Despite the fact that producer Mark Burnett says the show is “completely non political,” many feel the show is part of a campaign scheme for Sarah Palin‘s 2012 plan to run for president. Tim Goodman, of The Hollywood Reporter, said both Palin’s fans and critics will find what they’re looking for in the show.

Ah, Sarah. I gotta admit, there’s something that draws me to watch the show. I don’t know if it’s her use of the word “flippin,” or the fact that she’s pretending to actually be interested in Alaskan wildlife. It’s all quite convincing, but not convincing enough for this tree hugger.
