Troubled pop princess Britney Spears’ parents, Lynne Spears and Jamie Spears, have been spending a lot of time together while trying to keep their oldest daughter in line and have finally rekindled their romance after more than 8 years since they separated back in 2002.

Lynne and Jamie were together for 30 years before they separated 8 years go. At the time, Britney said their separation was the best thing that had happened to their family because she thought her parents did not get along as she had witnessed several discussions since she was only a baby.

“They are back together and are doing well and happy,” a source tells People. “[They're] not remarried but back together.”

Britney’s parents aren’t exactly planning to re-marry… at least not for now. They both want the best for their family and if the spark is back, why not give each other another chance!?! Britney has not commented on her parents’ reconciliation yet.
