The sad news continues. It has been revealed that Tony Parker did indeed cheat on his Desperate Housewives wife Eva Longoria. Parker has reportedly been involved with his fellow San Antonio Spurs player Brent Barry‘s wife, Erin.

Brent’s father, NBA Hall of Famer Rick Barry, said he’s afraid his son will be “devastated” by the news:

“I feel horrible for my son. I’m in shock.  I knew [Erin] was moving out of the house soon and SHE was the one that filed for divorce. This is the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Tony and Brent played together from 2004 to 2008.

“[Brent] is going to be devastated.  I can’t even imagine him going through this … the divorce was hard enough news.”

Tony released a statement via Facebook earlier, saying:

“It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Eva and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.”

I hate to be a cold hearted jerk about all this, but if he did cheat on her, he’s in for a lifetime of unhappiness. Eva Longoria is a catch, Parker! What the hell were you thinking?!?
