While most Americans were preparing last-minute casseroles, Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal spent their Thanksgiving morning on a date.

The two were spotted at Park Slope’s Gorilla Coffee, a coffee joint in Brooklyn that Jake’s sister Maggie Gyllenhaal frequents. A source from the coffee shop said both Taylor and Jake had specialty maple lattes, made with Vermont maple syrup — and added that they tipped well.

The source added that this was Taylor’s first visit to the shop, which lends that it’s a favorite spot of Jake’s — and that he’s starting to involve Taylor in places close to his heart.
