“Dancing With The Stars” pro ballroom dancer Karina Smirnoff got a fabulous, huge and gorgeous engagement ring, which is worth an estimated $95,000, from her big spender boyfriend/fiancé Brad Penny.

According to jewel expert Michael O’Connor, the rock is an estimated 4.5 carat princess cut, center stone diamond set on a platinum band with a small channel-set of princess cut diamond. This is a ring for a real princess or a queen.

“All these diamonds set into platinum provide maximum shimmer that’s fit for a fairytale princess, and Karina has always liked romantic style rings,” O’Connor, who once worked with Smirnoff for an awards show, tells UsMagazine.

Brad went down on one knee shortly after she and her partner Mike Sorrentino aka The Situation were voted off Dancing With The Stars back in October. Karina claims she was absolutely surprised the proposal. Brad and Karina have not set the date yet.

Kim Kardashian is pushing a new credit card aimed at kids as young as 13 — because every parent wants their impressionable teen to ‘monkey see, monkey do’ after Kim Kardashian.

Realistically, it’s not such a terrible idea. The Kardashian Prepaid MasterCard will limit spending and leave the control/monitoring up to parents. The card is backed by Mobile Resource and launches tonight at Pacha in NYC.

A spokesperson for Mobile Resource elaborated on the idea behind the card:

“Teens do not spend their money as their parents think they do. And, drugs are a huge problem in this country. I give my son a small amount of cash and track his spending on his card.”

It’s a sad day for 13-year-old girls everywhere — Disney Channel‘s ‘Jonas LA‘ has been canceled.

Rumors have been whirling surrounding the cancellation for some time, but this was allegedly confirmed by the show’s director Paul Hoen via his Twitter over the weekend (tweet has since been pulled).

I guess it was only a matter of time before this brilliant piece of television art called went under. With limited musical ability and no television show to fall back on, what will the Jonas Brothers do now?

Despite her parents’ divorce, Miley Cyrus plans to share some quality time with Billy Ray, Tish and the rest of the Cyrus clan in celebration of her 18th birthday.

At last night’s MTV Europe Music Awards, Miley opened up about what she’ll do when she hits 18 on November 23rd:

“I’m not going to go crazy – [just] have a fun party and then maybe take a vacation with my family,”

“That would be really cool. I think we need time to all be together.”

Miley is one of 5 Cyrus children, including Brandi, 23, Trace, 21, Braison, 16, and Noah, 10.

Maybe a little quality time with the family could have hindered the divorce plans in the first place?

Anyway, poor Miley — hope she’s able to have a great 18th birthday despite her parents’ separation.

Gretchen Mol celebrates her 38th birthday today, but that’s not the only piece of excitement in her life — the HBO Boardwalk Empire star is expecting her second child!

And since her HBO series isn’t currently filming, Gretchen gets to really soak in the excitement. At yesterday’s premiere of the new Rachel McAdams flick Morning Glory, Gretchen shared the news, as well as a large baby bump:

“I’m just enjoying this time. We’re not shooting now so I’m having a baby and then we’ll start shooting again, which is great,”

“It’s really lovely to know I have a job coming and there’s this little time and I can really enjoy it instead of feeling [stressed].”

Gretchen and her husband Kip Williams have a 3-year-old son, Ptolemy John. Their new arrival is postmarked for February.
