Professional surfer Andy Irons was found dead by a hotel employee at around 10 am in Dallas, Texas on Tuesday (November 2). The 32 year-old surfer’s his wife Lyndie Dupuis is about to give birth to their first child.

Andy, who won three surfing world titles, two Quicksilver Pro titles and two Rip Curl Pro titles, was planning to return to his home in Hawaii, but he had fallen ill and book a room to rest. According the family, the suffer was battling dengue fever.

Andy’s family released a statement saying, “[Andy] had reportedly been battling with dengue fever, a viral disease. At this time the family thanks his friends and fans for their support and asks that the community respect its privacy.”

Rick was incredible and it’s totally unfair he was voted off the competition when Kyle Massey (love him!) and Bristol Palin, who lacks personality to be a performer, are still in and will have another chance to return to the dance floor. Last week, Audrina Patridge’s elimination was also a complete disgrace for the show. She was simply one of the best dancers. “The Hills” star needed an injection of attitude, but she looked beautiful floating on that dance floor.

Rick, who’s dating actress Eliza Dushku, behaved like a true champion thanking everyone for the fantastic experience, especially to his professional dance partner, Cheryl Burke.

“It’s been amazing. It’s been a transformational journey for my relationship with my girlfriend and with my daughters,” says the former Lakers star.

I certainly hope people at home stop feeling pity for Bristol and stop thinking Kyle is super cute because this show is about dancing… it’s not a popularity contest!!

That was a good, great and fantastic performance, yet I still feel like something is missing. I don’t know what exactly, but Brandy and Maksim still need to prove they can really wow us. Guest judge Gilles Marini said he felt goosebumps all over (not enough for a 10!). Len Goodman claimed it was without a doubt the best Foxtrot of the season.

WOW! That was a whole lot of fun! Rick had a lot of fun during rehearsals since he got some help from his girlfriend, actress Eliza Dushku. The judges all agreed this was Rick’s best performance on the show. Bruno thought Rick made more faces than Jim Carrey and Carrie Ann Inaba said that Mr. Banana-Man (Helio) has to pass torch to the Jolly Green Giant. Good job!
