‘Project Runway’ Judge Nina Garcia Welcomes A Baby Boy

It was a great Thanksgiving weekend wrap-up for Project Runway judge Nina Garcia — she welcomed an 8 lb baby boy, Alexander David Conrod!

Nina tweeted this morning:

“Delighted to announce that over the wknd we welcomed 8lb13oz Alexander David Conrod into our home! Baby is doing great & Lucas is thrilled!”

Lucas is Nina’s 3.5 year old son with husband David Conrod, and big brother to the new baby.

Lucas will be a great big brother, Nina anticipates.

She told PEOPLE this summer:

“He’s excited and he gets it,”

“We told him, and he’s very happy to be a big brother. He’s waiting for the baby to come more than we are.”

Nina is the fashion director at Marie Claire, in addition to her position at Project Runway, and will now tackle mothering TWO kiddos!

Congrats to the family and a special wish of good luck for Nina!

Bing.com’s Top 10 Most Searched Celebs of 2010

Search engine Bing.com (site) has released ‘The 10 Most Searched Celebs of 2010′ and Kim Kardashian (photos) was searched more than any other human in America.

Sandra Bullock finished in a distant second. She became popular once again this year because of the cheating scandal last year involving her ex-husband, Jesse James (see #7) and several of his mistresses.

Most Popular People Searched in 2010 on Bing.com:

1.     Kim Kardashian

2.     Sandra Bullock

3.     Tiger Woods

4.     Lady Gaga

5.     Barack Obama

6.     Kate Gosselin

7.     Justin Bieber

8.     Jesse James

9.     Lindsay Lohan

10.   Jennifer Aniston

11.   Michael Jackson

I am surprised Kate Gosselin is still that popular. The rest of them make sense for one reason or another.

Justin Timberlake To Begin Oscar Campaign

Oy vey. Here we go with the ego.

Justin Timberlake, 29, is reportedly beginning an “agressive” campaign to win a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as Sean Parker in The Social Network.

‘The Social Network’: Fact vs. Fiction

A source said:

“Sony is footing the bill for advertising the awards campaign, but Justin is doing things his own way, attending Academy screenings and privately reaching out to award winners and Academy darlings Tom Hanks and Kevin Spacey for campaigning advice.”

Justin’s reps declined to comment. DUH.

Is Justin Timberlake Done With Music?

Am I the only person who doesn’t think he deserves an Oscar nod? In my opinion, his supporting co-star Andrew Garfield deserves the recognition.

Brendan Fraser Play ‘Elling’ Closes After One Week On Broadway

Brendan Fraser‘s Broadway comedy ‘Elling’ is closing after only one week, making it one of the shortest runs on the Great White Way in recent years.

The production, which officially opened on November 21, will have played 22 previews and 9 official performances.

In October, The Mummy star was excited to start his time on stage:

“Coming to Broadway is the fulfillment of a life’s aspiration for me. I’m very excited.”

“I’m looking forward to the whole run of it, for having had the experience of the arc of a performance over an entire run. We have 20 weeks, so that’s a lot of time for me to learn how to get my job done right. By closing night, I’ll have it down!”

The play closed today after the matinee at New York’s Ethel Barrymore Theatre.

Yikes! Better luck next time?

Julianne Hough Says Prepping For ‘Burlesque’ Was Harder Than ‘Dancing With the Stars’

Two-time Dancing With the Stars champion Julianne Hough is making her film debut in Burlesque, which stars Cher and Christina Aguilera, and she assures us all that the preparations for the movie musical were much more difficult than dancing for the ABC reality competition.

Julianne said the training schedule for the film was more grueling than competing on DWTS:

“On Dancing with the Stars, you learn the dance, you dance the dance on TV, and then you’re done. Burlesque was months of preparation, and each number was shot over and over again, over 16-hour days.”

The professional dancer, who also sings in the movie, is currently working on her second country album. She said one of the numbers even left her in pain afterward:

“When I sang ‘Diamonds Are a Girls’ Best Friend,’ sliding down those beads was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever done. And the most painful. I had welts on my sides, my legs, my arms and my neck for weeks.”

Emma Stone Won’t Be Starring In Upcoming ’21 Jump Street’ Remake

After the news broke that Emma Stone would be taking on the Spider-Man remake, rumors began making rounds that she’d be re-joining her Superbad co-star, Jonah Hill, in his remake of 21 Jump Street.

But Emma says that’s not true.

She told MTV News:

“I don’t think I’m going to be part of that, but Jonah is one of my favorite people in the entire world,”

So who WILL be taking part in 21 Jumpstreet? Channing Tatum, apparently.

Straight from Emma:

“I think Channing Tatum swept in.”

Despite not being in the film, Emma is still stoked to see it:

“I’m psyched to see that movie. It’s going to be great.”

21 Jump Street will hit theaters next August, and Emma will start filming for Spider-Man in just a few weeks.

Lindsay Lohan Has “Plenty” Of Job Offers?

According to a producer friend, Lindsay Lohan, who is currently undergoing court-ordered treatment at the Betty Ford Clinic, has received multiple scripts in the last couple of months.

Lindsay Lohan Freed From Rehab For Thanksgiving Day

Ethan Terra, a co-owner of a production company with Dina Lohan, confirmed that Lindsay would return to acting after her stint in rehab is over in January.

Lindsay Lohan Dropped From ‘Inferno’ Film

He said:

“Lindsay has absolutely no qualms about getting work. She literally has a mountain pile of scripts to choose from. When she is ready, we’d like to see her take on a positive role. She is doing so amazingly well with her recovery.”

I’m not sure just how much of that I believe. Are these scripts for Van Wilder movies?

Pregnant Pink Talks Pregnancy Rage

Singer Pink has always been a little on the fiesty side and it seems her pregnancy is making her crazier than ever.

Pink And Carey Hart Expecting A Baby

The mom-to-be recently sat down with Billy Bush of Access Hollywood and spoke about her pregnancy. She said:

“I got into a fight at Bed Bath and Beyond. I have the rage!”‘

While on a shopping trip lately, she said:

“this man wanted a parking spot and he honked at me and he was literally an inch from my ear drum… I [went over to his car] and he acted like he couldn’t see me, and then he acted like he couldn’t speak any English. I was going to kill him! And the poor bag boy [who] was helping me with my stuff wanted to be invisible.”

Hysterical! I wouldn’t get into it with Pink. She’s nuts.

Despite her run-in at Bed Bath and Beyond, she says her pregnancy is going well. As far as cravings goes, she says she craves:

“Sour Patch Kids, or Sour Skittles. Sour anything.”

Rihanna On The Cover Of January GQ

Hot new redhead Rihanna is gracing the cover of the British GQ this January!

In her interview, Rihanna was really raw and open about her relationship with Chris Brown, and the night that changed everything.

Regarding the domestic violence, Rihanna says:

“I witnessed it happening to my mum and I said I would never let that happen to me – and then it was happening. Now, when I look back, it bugs me out that I couldn’t see it for what it was.”

But, she adds, leaving Chris Brown and not looking back was the best thing she could have done for herself:

“Sometimes when you’re on the inside of a relationship like that, you can’t see it clearly for what it is. I left – it was the best feeling. It was so freeing.”

Chris Brown faced 5 years of probation as well as community service for what he did, but Rihanna has the memories forever — which she says has actually made her stronger:

“Before that, I was just a little girl from the island, singing pop music. It was easy to think I didn’t have a problem in the world. Then all of a sudden, boom! Everybody realises that I do have problems.”

“It made me strong. It’s a moment in my life I wish would disappear. In my head, it’s gone.”

Grab the January issue of the British GQ and check out the whole interview with Rihanna. We’re proud of her, it’s been a big year and she has shown (with 4 huge singles) that there is life after bad relationships. You go girl!
