“Dirty Dancing” star Jennifer Grey was crowned the winner of the eleven season of Dancing With The Stars after a two-hour special with appearances by fellow DWTS contestants and performances by Christina Aguilera on Tuesday (November 23).

Jennifer considered the possibility of leaving the competition after very long tough weeks, during which she injured a knee and suffered a slipped disc. She said, “I didn’t think I was going to compete tonight and I’m really glad I did. ”

Derek Hough became the first professional ballroom dancer to win three mirror-ball trophies. He previously won season 9 with Nicole Scherzinger and season 7 with current DWTS co-host Brooke Burke.

Bristol Palin left the competition in the third place, while Kyle Massey was this season’s runner-up.

Oscar winner Adrien Brody has won an injuction against the producers of Italian horror film Giallo.

The lawsuit, filed in October, was a complicated matter, so to catch you up a bit, check THIS out.

Monday, a federal judge ruled that Dario Argento and other makers of the film cannot distribute it in the United States without compensating Brody.

Brody did not try to stop the movie’s sale completely. The current DVD cover has two images of his face, but the judge’s ruling means his image will likely not be able to be used in the film or to promote it.

According to The Hollywood Reporter:

“The judge wrote that Brody is “suffering, and will continue to suffer, immediate and irreparable harm” without an injunction.”

Needless to say, Brody won this suit fair and square.

The Phantom of the Opera star Emmy Rossum, 24, and Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz, 46, have called it quits after one year together.

Rossum’s rep confirmed:

“We can now confirm that Emmy is now single.”

What a profound confirmation!

The two were first spotted together after Rossum’s ex-husband, music producer Jason Siegel, filed for divorce in October 2009.

Rossum also confirmed that the couple split two months ago, but insisted:

“We’re still very close friends.”

Dancing With The Stars contestant Bristol Palin was shocked to be one of the finalists and now feels like she has a chance and, of course she absolutely wants to win the mirror-ball trophy tonight.

“I’m thrilled! It hasn’t fully sunk in for me,” Palin, 20, told UsMagazine. “I know we’re in the finals, but it doesn’t seem real yet.”

“I know I’ve worked hard to get where I am,” she said. “I definitely feel like I’m the most improved dancer on this show — so I’m comfortable with that.”

Does Bristol really deserve to be in the finals? I don’t think so. On the other hand, for the total embarrassment that was her stint on the show, Bristol deserves to get something in return. Not the mirror-ball trophy, please!

Professional ballroom dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy responded to Bristol Palin’s accusations and pointed her the finger: “Shame on you, Bristol!” Maks claims he never had anything bad to say about the Alaskan teen mom until she opened her mouth to say he hated her after last week’s shocking elimination.

Maksim said, “I felt really disappointed with Bristol. Maksim also revealed that he is rooting for the Disney kid, Kyle Massey, who came out of nowhere and was completely out of shape before he became the most charismatic dancer of the eleven seasons of Dancing With The Stars.

I’m seriously afraid Sarah Palin’s tea parties got together and irrationally voted for Bristol non-stop, which would make her an unfair winner.

Bristol has done nothing to wow us and she cracked under pressure. Bristol is no Kelly Osbourne. Go Jennifer!! Before the season 11 winner is announced, Christina Aguilera will take over the dance floor and perform a number out of her debut movie, “Burlesque“.

Rachel Ray is showing her love for furry little creatures in a very big way.

The TV chef is getting really charitable this Christmas — she’ll be donating 100% of sales from her Nutrish and Just 6 pet food lines to shelter animals — with a goal of $775, 000 by Dec. 31st.

“If you want to look at the state of humans, you should look at the state of animals first,”

“People are choosing whether or not they can feed an animal and their family. And every shelter coast-to-coast is stuffed.”

Rachel will be hosting pet adoption events while she’s touring a new book — stopping at shelters of all sizes, the only exclusion being:

“We only give to no-kill shelters,”

“But we give to small and large; no one’s excluded. We want to keep as many animals alive as possible.”

Rachel started giving special attention to pets in need in 2008, and encourages those who can help to do so:

“My husband and I can sleep at night knowing that our small space is probably wrong for a lot of animals, but we can maybe inspire people [who have space] to bring a lot of animals home. It’s us trying to problem-solve that very discussion, ‘Why can’t we do more?’ “

She even went so far as to suggest things you can do to benefit animals — and your own kids — in the holiday season:

“When you’re out grocery shopping for your family, maybe you can put a can of cat or dog food in your cart and bring it to an animal relief center. Maybe you can take your kids by [a shelter] and have them donate something basic. If you can give one or two dollars, or even 10 dollars, to charity, it’s a great step.”

So, who has a soft heart for animals and a big stomach thanks to Rachel Ray? Who will be helping the furry little creatures this holiday season? Tis the season of giving, afterall!

Jodie Sweetin must be over the whole baby thing — the former Full House star recently shared a desire for a new adventure: Dancing With the Stars.

“I really want to do the show,”

“I just want to dance, but the fact that it would be on camera, and I’d get to have my hair and makeup done and wear those costumes? Awesome!”

Jodie recalls her time as Stephanie Tanner, the middle daughter on Full House, and how they’d always have her character dancing:

“Stephanie was always dancing,”

“A week or two before a dancing episode, the writers would say, okay, you and your teacher choreograph a routine.”

Now, as an adult, all Jodie wants to do is dance — and her boyfriend Marty Coyle has made it his duty to fulfill her dream.

He told People:

“We saw a ‘Get Jodie Sweetin on Dancing with the Stars‘ group on Facebook,”

“And I thought, wow, all you have to do is ‘like’ this. So I started a trending topic on Twitter. It’s her dream. Hey, Betty White got on SNL!”

If Jodie were to make it to Dancing With the Stars, who would she want to be her partner?

The big dance show fan tells you herself:

“I really like Derek Hough. Maks is good too – my mom loves him. But I like Derek’s style and his technique. And I really enjoy Latin ballroom. I’ve always wanted to learn the Argentine tango.”

“If I did do the show, I would ask, ‘How many hours did the winners rehearse?’” says Sweetin. “Then I’d want to do that, plus an hour. I would be that determined.”

The royal wedding is well on its way — and Prince William and Kate Middleton have set a date!

The couple, who have been dating for 8 years and announced their engagement last week, will be married on Friday, April 29, 2011, the British Monarchy tweeted.

The ceremony will be held at Westminster Abbey — the same venue where the then Princess Elizabeth, William’s grandmother the Queen, was married in 1947. Apparently, the couple chose the location based on its intimacy. Westminster Abbey seats 2,000 guests. Security will be paid for by British taxpayers.

April 29, 2011 will be a public holiday in the U.K.

Jennifer rocked it. Another exciting freestyle with a lot of wow moments and another perfect score for Jennifer and Derek, who are clearly the winners this season no matter what. Len Goodman called Jennifer a juggernaut. Bruno said she is a great dancer with good versatility and Carrie Ann Inaba thought it was perfect. Good job, Jennifer!

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas danced the freestyle to the sound of “Cell Block Tango” from Chicago (watch video below).

Bristol has never seen Chicago! Geez! Oh, Bristol inside a cage… she comes out… something awfully bad and embarrassing happened in there… Mark ends up in the cage. That was painfully terrible and boring. Len Goodman was probably the only one who thought that performance wasn’t a disaster. I guess this proves Bristol did not deserve to be in the finals.
