The last three celebrity dancers (finalists) and their professional dance partners rocked the dance floor for a chance to win the mirror ball trophy in two rounds (redemption and freestyle) on Dancing With The Stars big finale on Monday (November 22). Bristol Palin and her partner Mark Ballas danced the Jive to the sound of “Move” by Jennifer Hudson in the redemption round (watch video below).

That was fun. And wow… Bristol actually has a personality!?! Poor Bristol had a very tough week (*eyeroll*)! From gorilla to a thriller, said Len Goodman. Bruno claims she finally got it what dancing is all about and Carrie Ann Inaba said Bristol never ceased to amaze her, but her toes were not as pointed as they should be. LOL.

Kyle Massey and his partner Lacey Schwimmer danced the Foxtrot to the sound of “Feeling Good” by Nina Simone in the redemption round (watch video below).

Lacey and Kyle took the Foxtrot seriously this time. Kyle’s personality was eclipsed by technique. So for the first time, Kyle was a bit lost and boring on that dance floor. Len Goodman said he went from messy Massey to marvelous, while Carrie Ann Inaba pointed out he was way too worried about the footwork. I cannot wait for the freestyle to watch good old Kyle!

“In order to gain everything, you must lose everything,” Kat Von D tweeted today, after breaking the news that her house burned down.

The tattoo artist let it drop via Twitter that her house burned to the ground over the weekend, and included a picture of herself inside the remaining carcass.

Worst of all, Kat’s cat Valentine didn’t make it out.

She tweeted:

“My house burned down last night with my cat inside,”

“R.I.P. My little Valentine.”

So sad, I can’t imagine what it must be like to lose a pet — especially in such a horrible way. We’re sending positive vibes your way, Kat!

From the creators of Despicable Me and Alvin & the Chipmunks, Universal Studios introduces ‘Hop’ — an Easter movie about, well, the Easter bunny.

The film promises to bring “Candy, Chicks and Rock ‘n Roll,” — oh, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall‘s Russell Brand, who stars as the Easter bunny.

The movie, which hops into theaters next Easter, will also bring a little James Marsden to your basket.

Here’s a full synopsis:

Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred (James Marsden), an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny (voiced by Russell Brand) and must take him in as he recovers.  As Fred struggles with the world’s worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.

The film is helmed by Tim Hill, director of the blockbuster Alvin & the Chipmunks and produced by Chris Meledandri’s Illumination Entertainment (Despicable Me).

Easter movie? Good. Russell Brand? Great. Good call, Universal!

Jake Gyllenhaal cozies up to his sexy co-star Anne Hathaway in their upcoming film, Love and Other Drugs.

Jake told Ryan Seacrest:

“Let’s just say that there’s a lot of intercourse in this movie,”

So how did he keep cool when they turned up the heat?

“It’s a tough job getting naked with Anne Hathaway.”

But…

“It’s not awkward, it’s our job. That’s the tough life of being an actor in the movie business nowadays. It’s exhausting.”

Do I sense a little sarcasm? Yes, so tough to be naked with attractive co-stars! And apparently, according to the photographer on their recent –naked — Entertainment Weekly shoot, Jake and Anne have quite the chemistry.

Love and Other Drugs opens in theaters this Wednesday — and looks to be quite the funny Thanksgiving flick, just don’t take your parents!

Forbes magazine recently named funny man Will Ferrell the world’s most overpaid actor.

Sure, he’s hilarious, but Forbes believes we’re giving him more than he’s worth. As offensive as that is, Will says he’s proud to be overpaid — rather than the other way around:

“Isn’t that the whole point?”

“I mean, aren’t we all striving to be overpaid?”

After all, isn’t it all about the Benjamins? With popular films like Elf and Old School, we’re sure Will isn’t hurting.

Will Ferrell makes light of his award, adding:

“Apparently I’m living the American dream without even trying,”

Personally, I think we’re not paying him enough! Laughter is the best medicine, and Will Ferrell is one funny guy.

Kourtney Kardashian‘s 11-month-old son Mason had his first run-in with peanut butter over the weekend — and it did not go well.

Mason Dash Disick was rushed to the hospital after he sampled peanut butter for the first time and had a major allergic reaction.

Kourtney posted on her blog:

“Friday night Mason ate some peanut butter and had a little allergic reaction to it,”

“He threw up within minutes of tasting it and got hives on his face. I called 911 and the fire department came immediately.”

Kourtney said that the firemen instructed her to get her little man further medical care, so they took Mason to the emergency room of the local hospital.

“They suggested that we take him to the hospital, so we did,”

“He was in good spirits the whole time and didn’t even know anything was wrong. He even enjoyed riding in the ambulance. He’s such a good boy!!”

Every first time mom will experience scary moments with their children, but Kourtney says she’s learned the power of a mother’s instinct:

“I learned such a lesson with this … to always follow my instincts and call 911. Always better safe than sorry.”

We’re glad Mason is doing okay!

Former First Lady Barbara Bush isn’t being shy about what she thinks of former Alaskan Governor and reality television star Sarah Palin.

In an interview airing Monday on CNN’s Larry King Live, Mrs. Bush says she once sat by Palin:

Well, it certainly didn’t take long to find a replacement for Lindsay Lohan in the biopic Inferno. Director Matthew Wilder has announced that Malin Akerman will be playing porn star Linda Lovelace in the film.

Lindsay Lohan Dropped From ‘Inferno’ Film

Wilder said:

“We are casting Malin Akerman for the role of Linda Lovelace. We are currently in negotiations and working out the legalities of bringing her on board.”

It was announced yesterday that Lohan, who is currently undergoing treatment at the Betty Ford Center, had been dropped from the project. With Akerman replacing Lohan, Wilder thinks the film will get back on track and will shoot in the first quarter of 2011.

Glee sweethearts Lea Michele and Cory Monteith are Teen Vogue‘s latest cover models. The stars dished on everything from their work on the show to their relationship off set.

“Teen Vogue: So, you guys have gone from relatively unknown to pretty ubiquitous in the past eighteen months, thanks to the success of Glee. Do you feel like you’re finally getting everything you worked so hard for?

Cory Monteith: No. I don’t feel like I was working toward this at all! I didn’t even know that you could get paid to be an actor when I first started doing this.

Teen Vogue: How did you start?

Cory Monteith: You want to take this one, Lea? She’s heard this story, like, 100,000 times.

Lea Michele: We’ve all heard each other’s stories.

Cory Monteith: I’ll make it quick. I was 20 years old, working as a roofer and a telemarketer and driving a taxi, just barely getting by. A friend of a friend suggested I try acting. I was like, “Why? What am I going to do? Community theater?” But I took a class, and the teacher thought that I had potential, so I moved to Vancouver and started auditioning. I slept on someone’s floor. I brought, like, two shirts and two pairs of pants.

Teen Vogue: Why didn’t you pack more pants?

Cory Monteith: I didn’t own any! I was dirt-poor. I could barely hold down a job. Eventually, though, I started getting small parts on shows like Smallville, Supernatural . . . and lots of really bad sci-fi movies. I was running around the woods in wolf contacts, covered in fake blood made out of pancake syrup, roaring.

Lea Michele: Hybrid. Check it out.

Teen Vogue: Did you enjoy that?

Cory Monteith: I was, like, so stoked. But when the Glee audition came around, my manager literally had to talk me into it. I was petrified to sing in front of anyone.

Lea Michele: Fast-forward two years, he’s on stage at Radio City, singing live in front of 6,000 people and, like, loving it.

Cory Monteith: Loving it.

Lea Michele: He’s a rock star.”

As onlookers, we often speculate about how celebrities are dealing with hard times in their lives — like separations.

But it’s the co-workers and friends of the celebrities that know them best. Cougar Town‘s Josh Hopkins spoke up about how his on-screen love interest — Courteney Cox — is dealing with her split from husband David Arquette.

“If we weren’t friends and she didn’t confide in me I wouldn’t have any idea that anything was wrong,”

“She comes to set, she knows her stuff, and she’s hilarious everyday. She’s been amazing.”

Hopkins stresses that the adults aren’t the only ones to feel the sting of a broken relationship, and the split has been especially hard on the couple’s 6-year-old daughter Coco.

“The day that the news of the separation broke, there were paparazzi outside of their house, and they were taking pictures when Courteney took Coco to school,”

“Coco sees these things, because that’s not a normal thing in any respect and she is a precocious child.”

The fact that both Courteney and David are in the spotlight just seems to make maintaining normalcy harder.

“There’s no doubt that they have a lot to deal with right now,” he said, looking over at Cox who was sitting nearby, “more than you would in your average separation.”
