Rogaine is on the hunt for a new spokesperson, and they’ve got their eye on one person: Prince William.

A rep for Rogaine said:

“We’ve been watching Prince William’s growing bald spot closely for years, and we believe Rogaine can help. We’d love to send him our new Unscented Men’s Rogaine Foam. William would be the perfect spokesman for Rogaine because whether you’re a prince or an average Joe, hereditary hair loss affects one in four men.”

The rep added:

“When he’s on the altar and the world is looking at the back of his head, he won’t have to worry about the hair that’s not there.”

Welp, that’s…. umm…. reassuring?  DO IT!

Russell Brand has been the ideal husband to Katy Perry so far. But he may be in for a troublesome 2011 if he doesn’t get his act together. The rocker posted a picture for the world to see of Mrs. Brand with NO makeup on. Oops?

Apparently, Mr. Brand took a picture of his beautiful (or, usually beautiful) wife when she woke up in the morning and then posted it to Twitter.

The picture has since been taken down and divorce papers have been filed.

Despite 84-year-old Hugh Hefner‘s recent engagement to his 24-year-old girlfriend Crystal Harris, he certainly hasn’t been the gleaming example of monogamy. Former Playmate Izabella St. James remembers quite well how it feels to be one of Hef’s many girlfriends, as she chronicles in her new memoir Bunny Tales.

The Daily Mail has printed a few excerpts from the new book, which details everything from day-to-day life at the mansion, to the popular sex parties held twice a week in Hef’s room.

On the girls’ rooms in the house:

“Each bedroom had mismatched, random pieces of furniture. It was as if someone had gone to a charity shop and bought the basics for each room. Although we all did our best to decorate our rooms and make them homely, the mattresses on our beds were disgusting — old, worn and stained. The sheets were past their best, too. Eventually I persuaded Hef to pay for a new mattress and bed linen — but I had to turn in every single receipt before I was reimbursed.Hef also eventually permitted us to have the rooms painted and recarpeted. But for some reason he insisted on creamy, white-coloured carpets. He liked the girlfriends’ rooms to look very girly, all white carpet and pink walls.”

On their weekly allowance:

“Every Friday morning we had to go to Hef’s room, wait while he picked up all the dog poo off the carpet – and then ask for our allowance: a thousand dollars counted out in crisp hundred-dollar bills from a safe in one of his bookcases. We all hated this process. Hef would always use the occasion to bring up anything he wasn’t happy about in the relationship. Most of the complaints were about the lack of harmony among the girlfriends – or your lack of sexual participation in the ‘parties’ he held in his bedroom.”

On having sex with Hef:

“I wanted to see if this experienced King of Sexdom knew anything the rest of us did not,’ she recalls. ‘But he just lay there like a dead fish. We often wondered why he did it at all. He must know deep down that it is just a show. But he is trying to live out this fantasy he has been selling to people since 1954. He wants to live up to the Playboy image he created and the expectations people have of him.”

Former Playmate Jill Ann Spaulding on the weekly sex parties:

“Another girl led me into Hef’s master bedroom. The only light was coming from two TVs on which adult films were showing. All the other girls were there, dressed like me in pink pyjamas. If you kept your pyjama bottoms on, that was a sign that you didn’t want to have contact that night. There was no protection and no testing for sexually transmitted diseases.”

Things couldn’t get any worse for Broadway’s Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Natalie Mendoza, one of the lead actresses in the show, has announced her departure from the show following a concussion she received during the first preview performance.

Mendoza is one of four actors in the Broadway show to suffer injuries. Despite the incident in the first preview performance, she returned three days later to perform again. Unfortunately, she was forced to take another two weeks off because she experienced headaches and nausea following her performance that consisted of flying sequences with the actress being spun upside down.

Mendoza has helped to create the role of the villain Arachne over the past six months, so I’m sure leaving the show is tough. In a statement, she said:

“It has been a difficult decision to make, but I regret that I am unable to continue on Spider-Man as I recover from my injury.  I wish Julie (Taymor, the director) and the cast and crew every success with this production.”

Julie Taymor said:

“Natalie is a talented performer.  We’ve appreciated her contributions to the show and we wish her all the best.”

I really wish this show could get it together. I know they’ve all put so much work into writing and producing it.

A second trailer for the upcoming film, ‘Your Highness,’ has been released.

The hilarious trailer seems to make a mockery of real life films that tell the tale of the olden days, but it’s got a star studded cast. Keep your eyes peeled for James Franco, Natalie Portman, Zooey Deschanel, Danny McBride, Justin Theroux, Toby Jones, Damian Lewis, and Charles Dance in this 2:30 of laughs.

MTV reality show ‘Teen Mom‘ star Amber Portwood has supposedly been offered $500k to do porn. Well, that’s one way to raise a toddler as a teen mom, I guess?

Apparently, Amber has been bragging that Vivid Entertainment is offering her half a million dollars to star in a porn film. She has been in talks with the company’s co-chairman, Steven Hirsch.

Vivid would not confirm or deny the rumors. They said:

“We can’t comment on any discussions that we may or may not be having with Amber.”

If it’s true, and she decides to strip it all off, Amber will undoubtedly lose her contract with MTV. But, she does have baby Leah to raise and legal fees to pay following a jail stint and felony charges for beating up on her ex, Gary Shirley.

10. The Karate Kid – The 2010 The Karate Kid may have been a remake of the 1984 flick, and it certainly made a lot of grumpy people whine about ‘ruining a good thing,’ but it was the movie that introduced us to Jaden Smith! Will Smith’s little big-earned man plays Dre Parker, who takes the teachings of his buddy Mr. Han (Jackie Chan) to acclimate himself in a new country. We laughed, we cried, we cheered for the Fresh Prince’s mini-me…it was great!

9. Paranormal Activity 2 – It’s not a good year unless there’s a movie that makes you jump out of your seat in the theater, sleep with the lights on and pee your pants. Paranormal Activity 2, the follow-up to the 2007 Paranormal Activity that was actually a prequel, gave us a look at the events leading up to the death of Katie’s man Micah. We were scared s—less when we got  very close look at possession and things going bump in the night. Oh, and this one had a dog and a baby, so you can’t go wrong there.

8. Toy Story 3 - When you team up Disney and Pixar, you’re bound to find the end of the rainbow. The Toy Story flicks are a big money maker, so a third one was a no-brainer — it was the #1 grossing film of the year. The plot isn’t so important, all you need to know is that Buzz and Woody and all of their toybox buddies go on another adventure. Stay tuned for Toy Story 12, when Andy’s kids have kids.

7. The Fighter - Boxing movies always pack a punch. See what I did there? The Fighter stars Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale and Amy Adams — and though it didn’t hit theaters until the very end of the year, it was mega talked about. It’s nominated for six Academy Awards, so we’ll see how it does in the new year.

6. Tron: Legacy – Back and better than ever….it’s another remake. Well, technically it’s a sequel, but with the great special effects 2010 brought in that 1982 never could have, it might as well have been the first. Also released in December 2010, Disney’s Tron was able to make some major dough in just a few weeks.

5. Black Swan - Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis — is there any question why this one made the top 5? Black Swan revolves around a ballet company, and while that makes it sound pretty tame, it’s actually a psychological thriller and beyond. Like The Fighter, Black Swan was an end of the year release that will be talked about well into 2011.

4. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1 - Part 1! That mean’s there’s another! It also means that if you haven’t read the books (me), you’ll have very little grasp on what’s happening. But like all of the Potter films before it, Deathly Hallows does not disappoint — it’s dark, ominous and full of Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. The final chapter to the Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2, hits theaters July 15, 2011.

3. Inception - Was 2010 a dream for you? Are we dreaming now? Am I awake? Are you alive? Inception was, undoubtedly, the mind-f—- movie of the year, that made everyone re-evaluate reality and the world around them. Science fiction movies got some cool points thanks to this big 2010 film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

2. Get Him to the Greek - I don’t know about you, but Forgetting Sarah Marshall is my favorite movie of all time. So, you can imagine my excitement when Get Him to the Greek hit theaters and I got a second dose of Russell Brand as Aldous Snow — in a movie all about him! Jonah Hill held his own in this one, as he took on the mission to get his favorite rock star to the States in time for a big concert — or he would lose his job. Oh, and props to Puff Daddy, because he totally made the flick.

1. The Social Network - Undoubtedly the biggest movie of the year and movie that will best mark our time — the era of social networking. Facebook, Twitter, and Myspace — oh my! The Social Network changed everything we thought we knew about the creation of our favorite time-waster (second to Bumpshack), and made us all realize that — damn, Justin Timberlake is a hell of an actor!

Singer John Mellencamp has split from his supermodel wife, Elaine Irwin Mellencamp, after 18 years of marriage.

The two met when Elaine was hired to be the cover model for John’s 1991 album Whenever We Wanted. They’ve been married since 1992 and have two sons together. John also has three other children from two previous marriages.

In a statement, the couple’s rep said:

“John and Elaine Mellencamp are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family. They will continue to raise their two children in Indiana but have decided to call it a day as a couple.”

John is set to kick off a U.S. tour in February for his new album No Better Than This.
