Jillian Michaels Leaving Biggest Loser, Planning To Adopt

Fitness buff and Biggest Loser inspiration Jillian Michaels will no longer be on Biggest Loser.

The fitness trailer took to Twitter to share the news:

“Season 11 of Biggest Loser will be my last :) ,”

“[I] have to finish out my contract.”

As to why, Jillian says it’s time for her to focus on motherhood:

“I want to take a year off TV and focus on becoming a mommy and doing more charity work.”

Jillian is currently in the process of adoption a child. She responded to one follower with more details:

“I haven’t got my referral yet. Still going through the process of home study etc.”

Well, that’s big news! I’m sure she’ll be very missed on Biggest Loser, as she’s helped a lot of people maintain a healthy lifestyle, but we wish her the best in adopting in 2011! Can’t wait to make that baby announcement!
