Rocker Bret Michaels, 47,  finally decided to pop the question to his on-again, off-again girlfriend of 16 years Kristi Gibson, 39.

The reality tv star popped the question on the finale of his VH1 show Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It on Monday night. The former Poison member got down on one knee and said:

“Please say yes or the rejection will kill me right now.”

Kristi is the mother to Bret’s two daughters Raine, 10, and Jorja, 5.
