Michael Jackson’s Neverland To Become Teen Music School?
Adios, Juilliard. The Neverland Ranch may be your biggest competition yet.
The financiers who own Michael Jackson‘s Neverland Ranch are out to turn it into a teen music school comparable to the New York City based conservatory.
The plan, set up by Colony Capital, is to teach teens, rich and poor, all the aspects of music-writing, performing and producing.
The first stepping stone will be to have Santa Barbara County sign off on the project. The next step is obtaining permission to use Michael’s name to promote the school, though a source close to the Jackson estate said:
“It’s an interesting idea and we’d be open to it.”
I think it’s safe to say that Michael would’ve loved to see something like this happen.
