Reality star Kim Kardashian stepped out to hit the gym with a new look today: CORNROWS. What?!?
Miss Kim has reportedly been filming a music video for her debut single in collaboration with Kanye West. Do you think this new look is for the video?
Thursday, she Tweeted about her new look:
“Ok just took a quick nap and woke up with a whole new look! Love the glam squad!”
Yesterday, she Tweeted:
“Day #3 Night shoot! I’m fighting hair and make up….this look is a little cray cray, but I’m going for it!”
In November, when rumors circulated that she was teaming up with Kanye, she wouldn’t deny or confirm the reports:
“He’s a musical genius, so I would be honored to work with Kanye. It’s all in fun. We’re just trying to have a good time.”
This might just be what destroys her career. We shall see…

Who would I be to say I have a problem with borrowing from other cultures? I fail to understand, however, why she wanted to do this to her hair. No matter what she does, she’ll be a knock out, but we all know that… But why this style?
As much as I hate some of the things she does, I can’t help but despise her hair now. It negates from it’s silky beauty that she had with that gorgeous black sheen it’s so renown for having. I’m not saying anything or implying anything toward the black population because there’s white beauty and then there’s black beauty, et al, but c’mon, can you really honestly admit to finding attraction in this style versus where she’s come from with that hair? Let’s be real…
She’s obviously using this as a tool, but for what or who, well, who knows? Regardless of why she’s done it, I can’t stand it and hope she changes it back tonight.
