Portwood, 20, has had plenty of drama this year surrounding her felony domestic violence charges for assaulting Leah’s father, Gary Shirley.

Child Protective Services were forced to become involved with the reality star, and eventually had to place Leah with her father for a short period of time. After Amber cleaned up her home and purchased a new bed for her daughter, she was placed back at home.

The Great White Way’s Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark opening date has been pushed back again, this time from January 11 to February 7, 2011.

Spider-Man On Broadway Continues Despite Major Technical Issues

The most expensive Broadway show ever to be produced has faced numerous problems since it’s preview opening in November. On top of technical glitches, one actor broke both wrists during a flying stunt, and star Natalie Mendoza was struck by backstage equipment, leaving her with a concussion.

Lead producer Michael Cohl said in a statement:

“Due to some unforeseeable setbacks, most notably the injury of a principal cast member, it has become clear that we need to give the team more time to fully execute their vision.”

“Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark is an extremely ambitious undertaking, as everyone knows, and I have no intention of cutting a single corner in getting to the finish line,” he added.

Judging from the pictures and little video footage of the musical I’ve seen, this looks like a stellar production. I hope the problems will resolved and it will live up to it’s expectations. Pull it together, Spider-Man!

Nick Lachey let it slip to Rachel Ray this Wednesday that he and his new fiancee Vanessa Minnillo “may be married in Tuscany” this New Years — but Vanessa quickly set the record straight that that isn’t the case.

When asked about it Wednesday night, Vanessa told Hollyscoop:

“He was joking,”

“We’re not getting married in Italy.”

“I think that’s the game of telephone. He said it sarcastically and it was misconstrued in print. We’re not [getting married in Italy], but that would be a great idea.”

At least we know who wears the pants in this relationship.

So if the MTV host and former boybander won’t tie the knot in 2010, when will it happen?

Vanessa says:

“I feel irresponsible for not having a date, but someone made a great point: When you’re dating, everyone is always asking when you’re getting engaged,”

“When you’re engaged, everyone is always asking when you’re getting married. When you get married they start asking when you’re going to get pregnant. Instead of keeping up with the Jones’, we’re just enjoying it.”

A great point! A relationship isn’t about the milestones, and it shouldn’t be for anyone other than the two of you.

Congrats to them whenever they do tie the knot — we’ll be sure to let you know!

Perhaps one of the most notable directors of his time, Blake Edwards will not walk away from the world without having made an impact.

The 88-year-old director — whose works include Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Pink Panther — died this morning with wife Julie Andrews and their children at his side.

Edwards was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but his roots were in Hollywood — both his grandfather and father were in the movie business.

His wife, movie star Julie Andrews, said in 2007:

“Do you know how long we’ve been married?”

“Thirty-seven years. That’s staggering to me. Where did it all go? I cannot stress enough what a fine director he is – and not just because I’m married to him!”

He will surely be missed!

Shelley Malil, best known for his work in the Steve Carrell funny movie 40-Year-Old Virgin, received his sentence today for the stabbing of his ex-girlfriend.

For stabbing Kendra Beebe 20 times in August of 2008 Shelley received life in prison with the possibility of parole. As Shelley tells it, he snapped when he visited Beebe’s home and found her with another man.

He expressed to the court:

“I am at a loss for words right now,”

“I failed miserably, not only as a human being but as a father, son, uncle, brother, friend. What I did to Kendra, I don’t have the words to express my remorse.”

Kendra also got her moment to testify. She said:

“I stand before the defendant alive,”

“Despite plunging a knife in me 23 times and trying to kill me, I am alive. Despite the wicked scars he left on my body, I am alive.”

“I feel a sense of relief, but I have to be honest there is never a win in a situation like this,”

“I was afraid because he was an actor that the people might believe his bad theatrics. I am pleased to see the justice system did its job properly.”

Justice was served indeed! So glad to see that — for once — someone in Hollywood isn’t getting away with attempted murder.

The Kardashian and Jenner clan has released their 2010 Christmas photo.  Kourtney Kardashian published the photo above and several others from the Christmas shoot on her blog.

The photos are eerily gray, depressing, cold, and reminiscent of a tycoon’s family photo from the 1800′s that you might see walking through the halls of Disney’s Haunted Mansion.

Don’t get me wrong the photo is really impressive and strong, just not very festive.  Little Mason Disick is too cute.

Country superstar Tim McGraw was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show (air date 12/16/2010) discussing his Country Strong co-star Gwyneth Paltrow’s performance and standing ovation she received at the Country Music Awards (CMA’s) earlier this month.

ELLEN: “So, you do a movie with Gwyneth Paltrow, who by the way blew everybody away at the CMA’s, getting a standing ovation. Did you know that she sang? Have you heard her sing before?”

TIM: “You know, she did that movie “Duets” with Huey Lewis so I’ve heard that song. Country music to me is a whole different deal. I’m biased because that’s what I do. You can’t get away singing country music unless there’s a lot of honesty involved. It just doesn’t work. It worked for her. I’m sort of pissed at her though. I’ve been, what, twenty years I’ve been in the music business and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a standing ovation at the CMA’s. After all the hard work I’ve done. After all the time and effort. And then she walks out and sings one song and everybody stands up.”  LAUGHS

The hilarity of Antoine Dodson‘s ‘Bed Intruder‘ song wasn’t lost on Jerry Falwell’s Liberty University’s Vision Ministries Choir — they put a spin on the original viral video with a unique performance of the song in front of an audience.

Who’d have thunk that a Christian school would sing a song about a man who climbs into a woman’s bedroom with the intention of raping her? Not me!

Antoine Dodson was made famous in August when a news interview he did regarding the attempted rape of his sister was made into a song. It’s hilarious, check it out below.

He already covers the teen magazines, now Justin Bieber‘s face will plaster the cover of Vanity Fair in early 2011.

Justin will be the youngest male star to ever be on the cover, which is quite the prestige for the young pop icon. But he’s not the first teen star– in 2003 Amanda Bynes, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, Mandy Moore, Hilary Duff, Alexis Bledel, Evan Rachel Wood, Raven Symone and Linsay Lohan shared a double-cover.

Bieber’s face is expected to hit stands in February or March.

Sons of Anarchy creatore Kurt Sutter is writing a screenplay about boxing — a screenplay which will star one of the world’s biggest rappers.

It’s been 8 years since Eminem made his acting debut with 8-Mile, and he will follow it up with a starring role in the upcoming boxing flick, Southpaw.

Why Eminem? Sutter says:

“He shared so much of his personal struggle in this raw and very honest album, one that I connected with on a lot of levels,”

“He is very interested in the boxing genre, and it seemed like an apt metaphor, because his own life has been a brawl. In a way, this is a continuation of the ’8 Mile’ story, but rather than a literal biography, we are doing a metaphorical narrative of the second chapter of his life.”

Kurt plans to have a first draft for Southpaw out by February, but no word on when the film will actually hit theaters.

MTV must think we’ve had our fill of Farrah, Amber, Catelynn and Maci — because Teen Mom 2 will feature a new set of pregnant teenagers.

Chelsea, Jenelle, Kailyn and Leah — formerly of MTV’s initial hit, ‘16 and Pregnant‘ — will make their debut on Teen Mom 2 on January 11.

Despite a new set of faces, there’s sure to be the same level of drama as the moms face challenges like break-ups, medical issues and custody battles.
