Anne Francis Dies At Age 80

1950s and 60s star Anne Francis died Sunday in her retirement home in Santa Barbara, California. She was 80-years-old.

The actress was best known for her role as a detective on TV’s Honey West, as well as her participation in the 1950s Sci-Fi flick, Forbidden Planet. Her love interest in Forbidden Planet was played by the late Leslie Nielsen.

Anne Francis passed due to complications of pancreatic cancer. She is survived by her two daughters and grandson.

R.I.P., old Hollywood! Hope we’ve got even half the talent we need to replace you. I’m looking at you, Rachel McAdams…where did you go?
