Actress Sandra Bullock, who divorced her cheating husband and adopted a baby last year, and her “The Proposal” co-star, actor Ryan Reynolds, who seems to not have been treated like he deserved by estranged wife Scarlett Johansson, have been spending a whole lot of time together. The two longtime friends are clearly falling for each other.

Jesse James is out of the way. Ryan and Scarlett filed for divorce a couple of days before Christmas. So Ryan and Sandra spend New Year’s Eve at her restaurant called Bess Bistro in Austin, Texas, where the two allegedly kissed at midnight, drank champagne and left the party at 2 am.

“Sandra planned all along to spend New Year’s at the restaurant with friends,” says the insider. “And she was thrilled that Ryan accepted her invitation to join in.”

“I’m sure they’ve bonded over the breakups,” a Reynolds insider tells Us. “Going through a divorce is a unique thing to live through. Ryan always got excited talking about Sandra and liked being around her.”

It’s on! Sandra and Ryan have been through really tough break ups and they found someone to lean on. Friendship is beautiful. Ryan and Sandra have a lot in common. They value their privacy and they seem to both want to start a real family.
