Oprah’s Family Secret: Reunion with Half Sister Bunny
Oprah Winfrey has a big, shocking and surprising family secret she will reveal on her show today (Monday, January 24). The question is what could possibly be more shocking than Oprah’s history of abuse, drug addiction and her recent pregnant and suicidal confession.
What Is Oprah’s Big Family Secret? (Some Guesses)
According to celebrity biographer Kitty Kelley, the 54 year-old will reveal she has a half-sister named Bunny, who was given up for adoption as a baby by mom Vernita Lee because the family could not afford to take care of. Bunny is now all grown up, a mother, a grandmother and ready to reunite with her family.
Oprah and Bunny’s reunion will happen on a very special episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show. Is this shocking? NO. Oprah loves to be the center of attention, turning a family reunion into a media circus. On the other hand, she can break the news and explain exactly how it happened without further speculation.
UPDATE: Oprah’s half sister’s name is Patricia not Bunny!

i think it was great that patricia found out who her family is. i cant imagine how she feels not just for the fact that oprah is her sister, but just that she found closure and the way she handled it was amazing. oprah is one of the biggest icons in the world and presenting this any other way would have damaged their family. i think she did it the best way, money is not always the answer to everything, i grew up without my family, i have 2 sisters and a half sister and brother i havent seen any of them since i was younger about 10 years old, my mother died when i was a little girl and our family split up. my dad died in 2007 from cancer and i couldnt even tell them, so i know how it feels, i grew up in a foster home also. im so glad patricia found her family, as for oprah’s mother, as oprah said u have to let go of the guilt and embrace your child, let her know how you feel and apologize to her and move forward from this day, the past wont be such an issue if you make the future worth it. i will pray for them.
