Twilight star Kristen Stewart has reportedly been approached by Universal to star in their new film Snow White And The Huntsman.

Stewart is said to be the studio’s top pick for the role in director Rupert Sander‘s re-telling of the classic film. Viggo Mortensen will star as the huntsman and it’s rumored that Charlize Theron will potentially play the evil queen.

Stewart’s Runaways co-star Riley Keough has been screentested for the film, as well as actresses Felicity Jones, Emily Browning and Swedish actress Alicia Vikander. Stewart’s Hollywood status means that she will not be required to audition for the movie.

I really hope they don’t put Stewart in this role. My idea of Snow White is a Disney Princess, not an emo, black eyeliner wearin’, vampire chick. If she has the acting chops, I think Riley Keough would be a great option. Does it help that she’s Elvis Presley‘s granddaughter?
