Aussie actor Sam Worthington, best known for his role of Jake Sully in “Avatar”, and his longtime girlfriend, a fashion stylist named Natalie Marks, have apparently decided to split after dating for more than three years.

The couple met when Natalie worked for the actor’s management agency based in Australia. Sam and Natalie have not been seen together since October. Their relationship wasn’t exactly serious, so the break up did not surprise close friends. “It’s been on the cards for a while, I believe,” a source close to the pair told the Hearld Sun.

The 34 year-old actor is pretty busy working on a new film “Wrath of the Titans”. Sam is also set to star in James Cameron’s next two “Avatar” sequels, which are set to be released in 2014 and 2015.
