Motorcycle enthusiast (and Sandra Bullock‘s cheating ex-husband) Jesse James, 41, and tattoo artist of reality show LA Ink Kat Von D, 28, are engaged. The two have been dating since last summer, when Jesse’s marriage to Sandra ended in scandal.

Jesse said:

“You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs. I have never met anyone so kind and loving and committed to making the world a better place every day. My love for her is beyond description. So honored that she said ‘yes.’ Growing old with her is going to be a f—-n’ blast!”

What a douche.

Kat, being the fame whore she is, added:

“There is no one else for me. He’s the one.”

January 13, Jesse took to his Twitter to profess his love for Kat, Tweeting:

“They say True love will always shine through. The only reason I started Twitter again? so I could publicly profess my love for @thekatvond.”

She responded:

“Thank you always supporting me and believing in everything I do. But most of all, thanks for being my best friend.”

These two deserve each other. How does it feel being the most hated couple in America? Hey, that’s what happens when you cheat on America’s sweetheart!

Victoria Huggins, a super cute 16 year-old girl from North Carolina, seduced the judges with her incredible confidence, funny personality and a rendition of Gladys Knight’s “Midnight Train to Georgia” during the premiere of American Idol season 10 auditions in New Jersey on Wednesday (January 19)- watch video below.

Judge Jennifer Lopez admitted the girl, the accent and the outfit were simply adorably cute, while Steven Tyler was actually busy praising the amount of leg the teen opted to show at the audition. Come on! We all know Steven likes them young!

Victoria, who has the annoying habit of videotaping every moment of her life, was not embarrassed by the comment at all. She got the perfect comeback, “Well, I’ve got to appeal to the boy audience, but still be a lady.” Randy Jackson had to admit, “At 16, she’s got every trick in the book. The most personality ever on Idol. For that alone, it’s a yes!” YES!

Hilarious! Loved this girl’s energy and confidence, which earned her a golden ticket to Hollywood. Go Victoria!

Carlina White has finally reunited with her biological parents, Joy White and Carl Tyson, and family as she returned home after being kidnapped more than 23 years ago (more pictures + watch video below).

The worried parents took their feverish 9 day-old baby to Harlem Hospital’s emergency room, where she was kidnapped by an unknown woman, who had been walking around as a disguised nurse for weeks, and mysteriously disappeared on August 4, 1987.

Carlina, who was given a new name, Nejdra Nance, was raised by a family in Atlanta, but as she grew up she became very suspicious because she didn’t have a birth certificate of a social security card. Carlina felt like she did not belong to that family and there was no biological resemblance.

So, Carlina decided to search the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children for her birth year when she saw her baby picture and a composite of how she would look at 19 years old. She called the center’s hotline to ask for help on finding out who she really was.

Finally, Carlina, who is also a mother of a 5 year-old girl named Samani, met her biological family this weekend. This is a beautiful story with a happy ending that took more than two decades to happen.

“It was wonderful, she didn’t even seem like a stranger, she just fit right in,” Elizabeth White told the Associated Press. “We all went up there, we had dinner together, her aunts were there. She brought her beautiful daughter. It was magic.”

“I’m just so happy she’s back. I said, ‘you’re going to get so many hugs! You’re going to be sick of us.’ She said, ‘you know what, I never had hugs like that.’ I’m just happy she’s back. Thank you God thank you Jesus. I don’t want her to ever go back I want her to stay here,” Lisa White said.

The authorities are currently investigating Carlina’s kidnapping case, but they still do not have a solid suspect since she could have lived with different families as a child and have no recollection of certain events.

Rocker Iggy Pop’s former drummer, Alex Kirst, who was one of the original members of the band The Nymphs, has died after being struck and killed in a hit-and-run accident involving a SVU in Cathedral City, California last week (January 13).

The 47 year-old drummer was on foot when he was hit by a white Chevrolet Tahoe or GMC Yukon. Alex’s body was found on the side of Date Palm Road hours later at around 11:45 pm by someone who immediately called 911.

According to the police, there is no evidence of any braking, which means the driver made no attempt to stop after hitting Alex and fled the scene. We hope authorities can catch the reckless driver to offer Alex’s family and friends some closure.

R.I.P. Alex Kirst.

Last audition of the day and it was totally worth it! The 16 year-old student has an incredible smooth and beautiful voice. Travis was a bit nervous and looked a bit stiff, but he totally deserved that golden ticket to Hollywood.

The 16 year-old student tells how he was in a wheelchair when he was a little boy, but never gave up on walking again. Robbie also confessed he just wished to compete on Idol since he started watching the show almost ten years ago. Robbie is cute, has a touching story and an amazing voice.

22 year-old Rachel Zevita came, saw and conquered the new judges with a pretty good rendition of the classic “Hallelujah” during the premiere of American Idol season 10 auditions in New York on Wednesday (January 19)- watch video below.

Rachel had already auditioned for Idol on season 6 and she even made it to Hollywood, when she was given a ticket home on the first day. New judge Jennifer Lopez remembered Rachel and actually loved her. In fact, Jennifer confessed to be sitting on the couch with hubby Marc Anthony and cheering for Rachel. Yep, Jennifer was an Idol addict too!

Even through, Rachel did not deliver a wow performance, both Jennifer and Steven Tyler believed she is talented and has that “it” to be a star. Randy Jackson simply decided the girl deserved another chance. Hollywood waits for Rachel!

He’s clearly moved on — afterall, he’s dating Meg Ryan of all people! — but John Mellencamp finally officially filed for divorce from his wife Elaine.

Mellencamp and Elaine Irwin split after 18 long years of marriage and two sons together. And now that he has a new lady on his arm, it was only appropriate that he make the split official — he filed for divorce near their Lake Monroe, Ind. home on January 14.

The end of John’s marriage to Elaine marks his third divorce in his 59 years of life. That’s quite a feat!

So how is Elaine handling things? She partied hard at some Golden Globe parties this past weekend, and is enjoying single life, according to a friend.

Close friend said:

“She’s doing really well,”

“It’s the first time she’s been single in 18 years, so she’s just easing her way into it.”

Just 5 days after the birth of Owen Wilson‘s new son, the actor and his girlfriend Jade Duell have revealed his name!

Robert Ford Wilson was born in Hawaii on January 14, and the little guy has some pretty big shoes to fill — Robert Ford is also the name of the famous outlaw who killed Jesse James in 1882.

PEOPLE has confirmed that the name is Robert Ford, not Ford Linton as previously reported, though no details have been released directly from the couple.

In any case, I’m sure we’re all curious to see whether Baby Wilson got daddy’s nose!

Chris and Juliana’s story touched new judge Steven Tyler so much, the Aerosmith frontman could not contain his emotions and he cried. The 27 year-old contestant revealed he had proposed to Juliana before she was involved in a horrible car accident, which left her nearly paralyzed and with significant brain damage.
